Adverbs of Frequency Adverbs of Frequency คือ กริยาวิเศษณ์แสดงความบ่อยหรือความถี่ ช่วยในการบ่งบอกถึงความบ่อยหรือ ความถี่ (how often) ของเหตุการณ์ตา่ งๆ ซึง่ คำาเหล่านีน ้ ัน ้ มีอยูม ่ ากมายหลายคำา โดยทีม ่ ักเห็นได ้ทั่วไป เช่น always/constantly mostly/chiefly usually/habitually normally/commonly/generally often/frequently/regularly/continuously/repeatedly sometimes/periodically occasionally seldom/infrequently/sporadically hardly (ever)/barely/rarely/scarcely never
เป็ นประจำำ,สมำ่ำเสมอ (100%) โดยส่ วนใหญ่ (95%) โดยปกติ, เป็ นนิสยั (90%) โดยปกติแล้ว (80%) บ่อยๆ (70%) บำงครั้ง (50%) ในบำงโอกำส (30%) ไม่ค่อยจะ,นำนๆ ครั้ง (10%) แทบจะไม่ (5%) ไม่เคย (0%)
นอกจากคำาเหล่านีแ ้ ล ้วยังมี Adverbs of Frequency ทีเ่ ป็ นกลุม ่ คำาทีผ ่ สมกันซึง่ สามารถแสดงถึงความถีไ่ ด ้ เช่น once a week, twice a day, every year, every other day, several times, three times a day, all day, forever และอืน ่ ๆ ซึง่ จะนิยมวางไว ้ท ้ายประโยคเสมอ
