Indefinite Pronouns Indefinite Pronouns หรือ อนิยมสรรพนาม เป็ นคำาสรรพนามทีใ่ ช ้แทนคำานามได ้ทั่วไป โดยไม่ช ี้ เฉพาะเจาะจงว่า คนนัน ้ คนนี้ โดยตรง มีความหมายเป็ นได ้ทัง้ เอกพจน์และพหูพจน์ เมือ ่ เราต ้องการพูดถึง ่ ่ ั บุคคลบางคน ของบางสิง หรือสถานทีบ ่ างแห่งโดยไม่ระบุวา่ คนไหน สิงไหน หรือทีไ่ หนแน่ชด
วิธก ี ารใช ้ Indefinite Pronouns Some- ใช ้กับ ประโยคบอกเล่า และ ประโยคคำาถามทีผ ่ พ ู้ ด ู คาดหว ังให้ตอบ Yes/No เช่น - Someone is sitting on the sofa. - Can you do something to help? Any- ใช ้กับ ประโยคปฏิเสธ และ ประโยคคำาถาม เช่น - The police couldn’t find her anywhere. - Is there anything to eat? No- ใช ้กับ ประโยคบอกเล่าทีม ่ ค ี วามหมายปฏิเสธ (ไม่ม ี not) เช่น - Nobody was at home when I called. - There is nothing we can do. Every- ใช ้กับ ประโยคบอกเล่า และ ประโยคคำาถาม เช่น - The police looked for her everywhere. - Is everything all right?
