CONCEPTďźš Modern theatre is known as the "valley terrace type" because of its special seating arrangement, in this project i lauout the reading room, multi-function hall, indoor theater, exhibition rooms, workshops, and other functions along the terrain, surrounding the outdoor theater, form the centripetal space,which is an implicit and open courtyard, implicit means separate the crowds and noise which cause by tracfic by architecture .Open means a new road connecting the main road and secondary trunk road, driving up the atmosphere of the outdoor theater . Open up a circle footpath in secondfloor, so people can watch the outdoor theater in all views, form a cohesive force.

Background : In 2006,the population of over 60-year-old Chinese elderly has reached 143 million, occupy 11% of the total population.Is will reach 248 million by 2020, occupy 17% of the total population.Service facility associated with the senior citizen, therefore, the social reqiurement will increase a lot, especially the facility for senior citizen.Aging problem asociate to politics, economy, culture and social life, and many other areas, solving the problem of aging society became a common responsibility of the whole society, is also the national economy and people's livelihood and national security a major social problem.

Increasing vertical connection between the houses,the sequence of living behavior become more rational
Different to the common cognition, people will move in the linear space, but in here ,people behave along the boundary of the wall becuase of the disadvantage of the lighting.

Diffenrent scale of the rooms forms corridor space in the residential part which contain the living behavior .
Instead of the west-east exposure , the buildings were designed in the north-south exposure,so it can get more nature daylight for the residential part.

Seperate the mass into the site,decrease the scale to create the atmoshpere of chinese village. Enbody the diversity instead of monotonous residential building
The groundfloor is surrounding the courdyard ,the depth-width ratio of the valley is similar with the traditional chinese villiage. Most activities are happened in the outdoor.

Further development, emphasize the plate structure,divide the window,ensure the form of the facade.
Facade:
Different scale of the rooms forms concave and convax boundary
Overhangs stressed volume, enhance the shadow effect.
Daylight come in form the gap between the rooms which also emphasizes the public spaces.
Single gallery section, periphery is completely transparent glass, reflect the inside corridor construction interface.

Cancel the grille , so the facade is more clear, use shear wall and thick plate forming fram scenario.
