REFLECTIONS:
• I SUCCESSFULLY CREATED A CUBE AND TRANSFORMED INTO A COMPONENT AND REPLICATED IT MULTIPLE TIMES TO CREATE THIS COMPLEX ARRAY. • ZOOMED INTO THE ARRAY AND TURNED MY SHADOWS ON AND TO PLACE SEVERAL HUMAN FIGURES FOR SCALE TO CREATE A DRAMATIC SHOT.
CRAZY CUBE ARRAY IN SPACE
CUBE ARRAY TOP VIEW
CUBE ARRAY SIDE VIEW
• In this excersise/example we worked on symmetry and using camera angles to really show the size of these cubes in comparison their counter parts. • Consistency and accuracy show throughout and really brings a realism to these views especially the top view.

CUBE ARRAY WITH SKATEBOARDER
Again in this example I added some action movements to really give off the depth and realistic view of this more finalized piece of the previous example. Using shadows and the camera angles help to show comparison in height for example the difference in size of the shadow of the skateboarder and the actual size. Adding texture to the cubes gives a nice warmth to the picture as well as contributing to depth perception.
• Our first step in designing more in depth with structures. • The Background sky adds to the shadows buy placement in coordination with the sunlight. • This was the first exercise with making doorways and windows.
• Using the follow me tool was put to use in order to create the wrap around curved molding on the roof top along with the dome style peaked tower. • Assembling stairs using the push/pull as well as the columns. • Graphic style was altered in order to provide a more animated look to this scene.
• We designed different walls to show our abilities to put our creative perspective on possibilities with our own building design. • I feel as though there are no real limitations to wall shape and functionality assuming the overall building structure permits. • Using the follow me tool was a first and making spheres was good practice for future building ideas. As well as making curved wall faces and playing with angles to add a real persona to the different designs.

Taking building and structure design into an overall usage of every tool learned in the first half of this semester has really come into play in this example. The follow me tool was used to make curved faces The rotate tool came into play in high demand for the terracing on the side face of the building I feel as though this piece is very abstract as is most of my work and really adds a more fun diverse feel and texture to this design. If you look closely, I traced the shadow of the building and used the push pull to make it a part of the overall building design. So leaving the shadow and trace will align at a precise time. Image 1 and image 2 show the difference.
• This design brought a little more technicality to it than the previous in the sense of scale and juxtaposition. • The railing was made with the use of the push/pull tool and making it a component to keep the railing whole and uniform. • Again like the last piece this example leans more toward the abstract side of design with very loose concepts of realism. • This was also a design of personal interest as I was a part of 1/7 as a Marine so this makes the example a lot more realistic in my own opinion. • I chose the backdrop because of the crimson sky symbolizing bloodshed that goes with the feel of this memorial. • The terraced roof made use of the rotate tool. I made it a free suspending design that relies on each piece to keep the other suspended. If one fails all of them will essentially fail symbolizing the comradery of the Marine Corps and again making this piece more whole.
