By studying the archaea “Sulfolobus Acidocaldarius which is isolated from hot acid spring in Roaring mountain, the features of metabolism and the unique structure of cell wall can be applied to bio-desulfurization. Since the photosynthesis of plant can decrease carbon dioxide in the air by turning CO2 to O2 which, this bacteria can be similar in sulfur compounds reduction by turning SO2 or H2 S to H2SO4. The purpose of this design is to create a plant by using the concept of photosynthesis that can purify air via turning SO2 or H2 S to H2SO4. Plants have adaptations to help them survive in different areas. Each plant type refers to various environments; adoption is to change types to develop unique features in different habitats. By using Houdini to stimulate various kinds of plant and try to design different forms to adapt to varying levels of pollution. Adaptations are special features that allow a plant or animal to live in a particular place or habitat. These adaptations might make it very difficult for the plant to survive in a different place. By using Houdini to stimulate different types of plant and make this plant to the reasonable scale in the real environment.

The Biophilic Interfaces is a catalogue of biological interface design proposals, and they open a discussion with an interdisciplinary approach. The scale jumps between different conditions are investigated geometrically to create new habitats for species. The wearable “Inhabited Exoskeleton” is also explored from a computational point of The aim of these geometrical experimentations is to create the habitats of living organisms. It is important to generate different types of micro-scale geometries to provide a variety of habitats for species. In the every condition change, the exoskeleton will be providing a new environment. Moreover, for the Biophilic Body, it is also important to capture seeds and pollens from surrounding and leave them coincidently to an urban space. The geometry studies for the urban intervention project “The Plateau” has done with different 3d modeling softwares. In this case, a boundary is generated from a tessellation strategy by our team members in Houdini software. From this tessellated system, the growth areas are defined for geometrical explorations. First explorations were done for an additional layer of agar to attract the microorganisms and collect them in the selected areas.

OHAKO
HIP Hotel - Graduation Thesis
Ohako can mean either 18 units or versatile capability in Japanese, and that is the main concept of this design. This project is to propose a design method on dynamic and complex housing that suits the high-density development of modern cities. The analysis adopted on a example with the qualities of complex structure and space. Due to its varied qualities, the plan can be changed very easily and quickly after the site is decided. By using this method, a plan for dwelling is generated. In order to achieve the mysterious characteristic of orient housing, the “HIP” element is added in the design concept. “HIP” was a new type of hotel which is introduced in recent years. Accommodation places have reached new descriptions beyond the scope of accustomed standards furthermore the desire of privacy is been required, hence the highly individual place is emerged to fulfill this type of travel accommodation. The HIP hotel is formed from a cohesive interlaced and compact space with a high level of privacy.

Method of Design 1. Studied the logic of the structure which is a Japanese vernacular architecture, and learned the principle of structure whereby irregular components are combined in a rigorous relationship. 2. Studied the essence of Japanese spaces, and extracted the concept of a multi-layer skin, control of the visual angle, and the elastic interface of space and its capacity.

Commercial Office Building
This project is regarded to a relationship between old and new. The site is in the middle of the old downtown which near park, temple, and residents. The concept of this design intends to accommodate the extension area of green belt and add impulse to this process of sewing.

Commercial Office Building
The clients of this project are fairies who are as human in appearance and having magic power. Because their habitat is counting down by the industry, the fairies had no choice but left they home and looking for the new place which can satisfy their demands of isolated. Thus, this project provide a various space which is contained all kinds of space to fulfill their necessities of life. The space is been planed and calculated, and each of the space is required to be spacious enough at least up to 10 fairies. Also the genius loci of each space is particular, there are place to meditation, practice, pray, and relax. Due to the site is optional, I provide a prototype which is adaptable at any type of site which is near water or river.

THE ORIGIN
Visitor Centre Planning-Golden Prize
Create a stone-like visitor canter and place it at the edge of the lake. The landscape is according to the skyline and the resident’s visual line which is behind the visitor center. We move the center to make a visual corridor for those residents. Take wooden ribs as openings for shading. The parking lot and gift shop is in the first floor. Provide a multipurpose room for exhibition or lecture in second floor. Steel-reinforced concrete is the main material, and we also use the silt from reservoir. There is a opening on the roof to make ventilation.

Hakka Resort
The original Hakka dwelling are composed of five round buildings and dozens of square buildings, and gradually transformed in order to adapt the environment. To have good views and better air circulation, we transformed it. Located adjacent to an existing hill, the resort is designed to serve a projected flow of 10000 visitor per month. The building is incised into an existing earth mound, integrating itself into the landscape, according to the topography. This changes angle to every room capable of seeing the Ming-De reservoir. Every room has a balcony and a great view.
