Getting Started on Army FRG (Family Members) Go to the Army FRG Site. Open your web browser and type in the ArmyFRG address.

Find your FRG. You will see the ArmyFRG home page. Click on the Find an FRG button in the top right portion of the screen.
Select your FRG’s location. You will see a map showing continental United States (CONUS) and outside the continental United States (OCONUS) locations. Click the location of your FRG on the map or use the links below the map to select your FRG’s location. If you are not sure of the location of the unit, use the CONUS Advanced Search or OCONUS Advanced Search links to locate your unit with other parameters (unit name, UIC, etc.).

Identify your FRG. FRGs for the selected location will be displayed. Locate your FRG in the list. (Use the search tools at the top of the page to narrow your search, if necessary.) Click your FRG’s name to continue.
Enter your information and your Sponsor’s information. Select the “I am subscribing as a Family Member” option. Enter your name, email address, and phone number. Then, enter your sponsor’s name and the last four digits of his or her Social Security Number. Press Continue. In order to register, the entered first name, last name, and the last four digits of your Sponsor’s Social Security Number must match exactly with what is in the unit’s Sponsor database. If a match is found, you will see the Complete Registration screen next. If a Sponsor match is not found, contact your FRG Administrator by clicking the Contact Us link at the topright of the page. www.armyfrg.org / 2

Complete your registration. Select a Username and Password for the FRG system. Usernames do not have any restriction except that they must be unique to the system and must be between 3-15 characters long. User names are not case sensitive. An example of an acceptable user name is “mary.doe”. Passwords, on the other hand, must contain at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number, and be at least 8 characters long. Passwords are case sensitive. An example of an acceptable password is “MD555frg”. Then, enter your E-mail address and your phone number and the remainder of the information in the form. Press Complete Registration.

View your FRG home page (if automatically approved). If your Sponsor identified you as a sponsored user in the Army FRG system, you will be automatically approved for your FRG. Once your registration is complete, you will see your FRG’s home page. From here, you can access all of the content and tools available for your FRG.
View the Registration Complete page (if not automatically approved). If your Sponsor did not identify you as a sponsored user in the Army FRG system, you will be placed on a waiting list for your FRG. Your Sponsor or your FRG Administrator will review your application to join the FRG and will approve it. Once you are approved, you will be notified by email. The next time you log into the system, you will be able to access your FRG site.

Logging in on future visits. The next time you visit Army FRG, press the Login link at the top of the home page. Then, enter the User Name and Password you selected during the registration process. Press Login.
Navigating to your FRG site. To navigate to the home page of the FRG site(s) for which you are approved, select the FRG name from the drop-down box at the top of the page. You will be automatically taken to the unit’s FRG site.
