Easy to cut Easy cutting, without breaking or chipping, speeds installation and makes it easy to create attractive details using different materials and colours.i

Innovative Solutions for Creative Exteriors James Hardie® siding products provide a complete solution for creating attractive, durable façades. Made of a unique newgeneration fibre cement material called engineered cement composite (ECC), and available in an extensive range of colours and textures, James Hardie® panels, planks, trim and external sheets give you full flexibility to design and construct any kind of exterior.

On any building façade, you can use just one or multiple James Hardie® cladding products in a virtually endless variety of combinations, with or without other materials, such as stone and brick. From the classic designs of wood and stucco/ rendered homes, to sleek ultra-modern designs, anything is possible with James Hardie® products.

A Century of Experience James Hardie has been manufacturing durable alternatives to traditional construction materials for more than 100 years. We started as a oneperson company in Australia in the late 1880s, and grew into a global public company (NYSE : JHX and ASX : JHX) with operations in Europe, the United States, Australia and Asia. Over the decades, James Hardie built up a diverse offering of building and industrial products. Since the mid-1980s, James Hardie has been at the forefront of developing and perfecting Engineered Cement Composite (ECC) technology – taking the building industry a huge step forward from the fibre cement products that were available in the early 1970s. For the past two decades we

have focused entirely on optimising ECC as the new generation of fibre cement and have introduced a wide range of building products that lead the industry in durability, versatility and strength. When it comes to choosing building materials, knowing where they come from can be as important as knowing what they are. When you select James Hardie as your façade solutions provider, you can be sure your materials come from a global leader in advanced siding products : a company with a sound reputation for quality, reliability and service.

Easy to install No special preparation or pre-drilling is needed, saving valuable time and effort on the construction site. The siding products are simply nailed or screwed to the timber or steel framing.

Highly durable The advanced cement-based formulation stands up to weather and time, lasting through the full design life of most typical multi-dwelling housing.

Full design flexibility The wide range of factory-applied durable colours for HardiePlank® and HardiePanel® siding allow for various kinds of design and combinations.

Environmentally friendly ECC is a non-hazardous and non-toxic material. Wood pulp is used in the formulation, and recycling of all process water and uncured cut-offs minimises waste during production. The pre-applied acrylic colour and exceptional durability (in excess of 60 years) reduce use of new materials, paints and cleanup chemicals during installation and over the building life.

World leader 200 million

square metres a year

James Hardie realises that as a company our product and production process may have a direct or indirect impact on the local, regional and global environment. Therefore we are dedicated to minimising any negative impact and acting in a sustainable way. We achieve this by meeting the demands of today without compromising the needs of future generations.

Carbon emission commitment Higher value homes The attractive façades and long-lasting durability provided by James Hardie® siding products increase the value of the entire building, enabling quicker, higher-margin sales.

Vermin and termite-resistant Resists damage from all kinds of vermin and insects.

Fire resistant All James Hardie® siding products have an A2 fire rating - meaning there is no risk that the ECC will ignite and spread flames through the building or to an adjacent building. As a result, it is often possible to build closer to boundaries than normally allowed, thus enabling more built space.

James Hardie’s commitment to reduce its carbon footprint has led the company to implement firm actions such as: - using local resources for production to reduce transport to and from its factories - utilising the most appropriate transportation for delivery - locating/situating its production sites close to its main providers of raw materials Furthermore, James Hardie provides sustainable and non-combustible siding products, therefore minimising the risk of carbon emissions during the post-production life of the product.

Environmental performance - Fibre-cement is a non-hazardous and non-toxic material. - Exceptional durability avoids use of new materials, paints and cleanup chemicals - Factory pre-finishing reduces the quantity of VOCs released into the atmosphere during site painting and repainting.
