PROLOGUE From a psychological perspective, I regard environment and people's psychological feelings as the priority in the architecture design. Nietzsche emphasized the importance of people: “Be yourself.” Similarly, in architecture, I think people are the most important part of the city and society, and only human activities can endow the buildings with vitality. Meanwhile, psychologist Maslow concentrated on people’s needs. He explained that people hid their needs at different levels, and the urgency of needs expressed in different periods was different. Therefore, I always insisted on demonstrating humanism in my project. I think the design concept is the soul of architecture . The concepts of the four projects I have chosen are on the basis of site research and cultural exploration to target the user’s needs and improve their happiness. This concept was summarized as Design for Well-being.

Soochow University Architecture Studio----Residential complex design 2018.3-2018.4 Two Months Site:Hong Kong,China Individual Project
The project is located on Hong Kong island. As a result of the condition of less land and more people, the whole Hong Kong island has a high density of urban forests, and the land for residential buildings tends to be saturated. but the city's housing issues are still sharp, no place to live, small living area and other kinds of problems are still plagued by a large number of Hong Kong residents. In view of that further development of society, the solution of future residence in Hong Kong will be the starting point of our reflection, and we will try to create a future residential complex for Hong Kong society, which will also be able to inject a fresh force for social development at the same time. In our design, the residential units are suspended in the air with a curved network structure. The residential complex located in the air can well alleviate the contradiction of land shortage in Hong Kong. There are fewer restrictions on the site selection of buildings, and it is possible to be replicated in the city in the future. The exposed suspension structure can accommodate the growth of vines, which also brings vigor and vitality to the city.

Among the three high-rise buildings around the Admiralty MTR station in Hong Kong, there is a good view from the green belt of the central government headquarters of the Hong Kong special administrative region to Victoria harbour. Hong Kong is one of the busiest and most efficient international container ports around the world, with the large number of abandoned containers being transformed into residential units.
The ground floor of the site is Admiralty Station in Hong Kong. It is a comprehensive conversion subway station with three subway lines passing through. The complex pedestrian bridge system around the site connects all the surrounding major buildings, and the development of pedestrian bridge system also indicates the development trend of vertical space.

The concept of sharing
The design starts from the topic of sharing, which has three levels and different dimensions of sharing. Two-dimensional sharing: sharing between the same layer of functionsďźŒ sharing kitchen and office space

In the overall network structure, three core tubes are set as the main traffic space within the space between columns. The branched columns suspend the prefabricated frame structure under the main structure, and the 20-foot international general container is transformed into a residential unit fixed on the frame steel structure.

Elon Musk, a billionaire in American technology, commented on the “painful” impact of his longterm work on his personal life, and he found it difficult to draw a line between work and private life. The iconic Tesla CEO, he worked 120 hours a week, sometimes had to take sedatives sleeping pills to fall asleep. The workload can't be changed sometimes. As a designer, I hope to solve the environmental problems and psychological problems of the office crowd from the design of the office building itself. Through research, I found that the distance between the sports activity space and the office often affects the time for the office workers to exercise. The large number of white-collar workers indicate that the lack of exercise and leisure space makes their daily life boring, and the concept of a composite office building is generated in my mind, and the complete sports and leisure space is placed in the office space, which will relieve the pressure of the office crowd for a long time and relax their sense of well-being.

The relaxation activity space that can be reached through three different modes of travel has a certain distribution around the high-rise buildings. But through investigation, it is found that the staffs often waste a certain amount of time on the road and causes them not to pursue a healthy lifestyle. It has become the biggest drawback of high-rise buildings today.

In traditional high-rise buildings, the sports space is usually dispersed outside the office building. There is only a small number of gymnasiums in the building, which cannot provide high-quality event space.

Formation of building forms In this case, we concentrate the activity space in the middle of the building, so that office staff and hotel passengers can enjoy this large activity space. Besides,this space would become an interesting view in city.
The site is located on the Huangpu River in Shanghai, adjacent to Binjiang Park. We are trying to introduce the landscape into the building to achieve the continuation of the landscape.
The balcony, which is constantly retreating from the building's facade, provides a place for office workers to relax.
An outdoor staircase connects the balconies, making it easy to reach the central event space.

Finally,a multifunctional high-rise building will be built that breaks the traditional occlusion of highrise office buildings. A large number of event spaces and leisure balconies facing the Huangpu River and Binjiang Park can be used by hotel residents, office workers and city tourists at the same time.

The market is often the most vital place in the city. The combination of the market has the potential to attract a large number of people, and it is bound to call the new vitality of the region. A small fishing village by the Taihu Lake has a dirty fish market. During the fishing period, a large number of fishmongers come to buy, which brings a certain economic income to the small fishing village. However, during the sealing period, life here will lose vitality. ; The transformation design of the fish market hopes to integrate the traditional functions of the fish market, and at the same time, it can promote the development of economy, tourism and other aspects of the whole region, transforming the traditional fish market into a fishery, catering and bed-house complex, which can not only provide fishermen a sense of well-being in material life and provides a sense of well-being in spiritual life for tourists in the city.

As the entrance to the ancient city, the south gate area does not have the vitality of attracting people. The large number of elderly people live in the area. The chaotic traffic and lack of community services obviously hinder the elderly from enjoying healthy and safe life. Based on the existing regional urban problems, the design takes the elderly as the main object, conducts in-depth interviews and surveys, and gets to know the real life needs of the elderly. Finally, the cultural buildings are considered to be the new wind vane in the south gate area, so as to improve the lack of functions. The design of young communities will bring fresh blood to the region, improve the regional population structure, and introduce high-quality talents will bring better community services for the elderly; The road renewal design will provide greater walking space and leisure space for the elderly. All the architectures and urban design are based on the needs of the elderly, hoping to create a safe walkable city which is convenient for the elderly and arouse the happiness of them.

Suzhou Museum
Suzhou Museum is the concentration of Suzhou culture. It is a comprehensive museum integrating modern building architecture, ancient architecture and innovative landscape garden.
General Plan
The main three roads on the site have chaotic traffic and serious congestion, which poses a great hidden danger to the safety of pedestrians.
In view of the current situation of road congestion, it can be solved from two aspects, one is to transform the road itself to alleviate the problem, and the other is to build a new residential community for young people and reduce the use of transportation.

According to the number of museums divided by roads, as the main entrance of the ancient city, the South Gate area is obviously lacking in cultural architecture.
On our site, we need to design a cultural museum-like building that carries the cultural introduction of the ancient city and attracts tourists and residents.

Suzhou Garden Panmen Gate Scenic Area is located in the southwest of Suzhou Ancient City. It has many historical sites and rich cultural landscape. There are both traditional classical garden patterns and 2,500 years of historical charm. Especially the ancient city gates with parallel water and land are the only existing architectural examples in the country.
Pavilion of Surging Waves is a Chinese Han classical garden building originally built in the Northern Song Dynasty. It is the oldest ancient garden in Suzhou.

The number of elderly people near the site is large and belongs to an aging population. The narrow roads and poor planning also lead to the lack of leisure space for the elderly.

The design aims at finding the intermediate state between high-density residential buildings and flat low-density residential areas. What I try to explore is how to obtain the joy of traditional rural life at the vertical space and horizontal level, and occupy less urban land resources under the efficient residential mode. Multi-scale street design and various shops and functional Spaces along the street exist in the whole ground floor space with a diffused trend. The residential, functional and spatial design of three different regional themes makes the whole community full of vitality.

The decentralized layout of the museum can give visitors a better experience. The decentralized layout follows the shape of suzhou gardens in the ancient city of suzhou and combines certain water pools and landscape design, so that the museums in the entrance area of the south gate can have the cultural characteristics of suzhou and give tourists better image certification.
03 Road reconstruction
There is a large amount of space between the secondary road and the street-side shops that is wasted. For this part, the space has been redesigned and updated with new functional activity space, leisure space, etc., which has met the needs of the elderly for communication space and walking space, and also ensured the security of the elderly to the greatest extent.

The original roads were chaotic, people and vehicles were mixed, traffic was congested, and noise was serious. In order to alleviate the status quo, the urban main roads were redesigned, and lane restrictions were imposed on different vehicles, returning to the city a safer and smoother road.
