Good News Stories •

Good partnership working by Beat Manager Paul THOMAS working with Raglan Housing association’s housing officer. A difficult and protracted ASB case in Coker Way was solved by Raglan obtaining a civil court injunction barring the offender from going to his own address. Police arrested him subsequently a number of times for breaching this injunction that led to a period of prison and then suspect moving out of the area.

Beat manager PC Lisa HALLETT setting up and launching last week the Crewkerne shop radio link to help tackle retail crime and anti-social behaviour in the town.

Beat manager PC Andy STUART arrested and successfully prosecuted a man in Ilminster who repeatedly used the 999 service to telephone the Ambulance and Police inappropriately. This has had the effect of curbing his behaviour.
