It is fitting to look back on what we have built at VC Simmentals over the years the traditionals represent 25 years of breeding & the black Simmentals have really been put together over the last 13 years. Just to make everyone clear we are keeping 3 cows, S031, U008 & U068 plus a couple of heifers that didn’t sell in previous sales. We have about 35 ET calves that will represent our spring 2025 sale & where we will rebuild our cow families from. This is only being undertaken to aid in our purchase of our own piece of dirt for VC Simmentals. The progressive programs that do their homework and are prepared for the sale on Friday the 6th of December 2024 online with Auctions Plus at 6.30pm. In this offering there is 41 cows & calves, 6 joined cows & 3 joined heifers for a total of 50 head.
We are super proud of this line up they are the backbone of hard work & dedication of Stuart & Samantha Moeck. All black cows will be Al’d to RF Caliber 014G that will be backed up by Woonallee Noble Prize Q368 except for P043 as she will calve to R Plus Mandate 1044J in late February 2025. All Traditional/Fullblood cows will be AI’d to BLL Rumble 62H that will be backed up by Lucrana Radar. All cattle in the sale will start at a bidding price of $4000 + GST there are no reserves on any lots. These in utero matings will surely benefit the new owners & provide a quick return on investment for the new owners. Please be assured that you are buying a product that is 100k tested, DNA tested, parent verified, cows/heifer are 4 generations with all genomic enhanced EPD’s, PI tested negative & are 7 in 1 injected to date. BIDDING
All bidding will take place on Auctions Plus & will commence at 6.30pm Friday 6th December 2024 running for 1hr as a timed-out helmsman auction. Time clock will start at 7.30pm. All cows & calves have been parent verified. All cows & calves have had genomic samples submitted (TSU Sample) and reported. Colour tested, polled tested, PI tested. The highest level of catalogue integrity available. Plus genomically enhanced EPDs.
TRANSPORT/DELIVERY
As a part of our service, we offer all sale cattle be transported at the buyers cost. All transport to all major selling centres will be coordinated by Lockie Falls of Falls Transport PH- 0429826342 or Dick Smith Transport PH- 0409655304 Lucas Passco. A buyers instruction slip with transport instructions in writing must be completed post sale and email to vcsimmentals@yahoo.com.au
REBATE
Selling agents are Nutrien Livestock. Outside agents are entitled to a 2% rebate under the strict following conditions:

TRANSFER
All sale cattle are registered with Simmental Australia and are eligible for transfer to your ownership.
INSURANCE
We recommend insuring your purchases at the fall of the hammer. A Nutrien Insurance representative will be available – Insurance Manager Fiona Petersen 0408 924 508. All cattle are at the purchaser’s risk from the fall of the hammer/timer.

VC are Accredited J-BAS Status 7 herd. All cattle have been tested free of Pesti-virus. All cows & calves have undergone a full 7 in 1 and Pesti-virus vaccination program with booster vaccinations prior to sale. VC females have been drenched with Cydectin Long Acting.
GUARANTEE
If there is ever a problem with any of our sale cattle, we would appreciate being the first to know! All our cows & heifers are fully guaranteed. In the event that a cow/cow or heifer is found to be infertile or incapable of natural service, (which has not occurred due to disease or injury), following the fall of the hammer, we will offer a replacement heifer/bull, or a credit will be given for the following sale, less the salvage value of the animal. This guarantee does not include interest, expenses, costs, or damages. Any claims should be made in writing within 6 months and accompanied by a veterinary certificate.
