Nurskin DESCRIPTION: This device is designed for simplifying skin-care steps, which is not only can male’s face washing but also can help their skin absorbed different kinds of skin-care products efficiently. There are two capsules which is holding lotion and moisturizer. The device can automatically extrude lotion and moisturizer. It helps people finish cleaning and skin-care process in one step.

INTERNAL STRUCTURE Slow gear motor drives the extrusion equipmentment.

EXTRUDING FOAM In pipe, the gauze makes foam when facial cleanser troughing. ADJUSTING The light shows the intension of vibration when pressing the button. VIBRATION The sonicare vibration of silicon brush can clean the dirt blocking in pores.

The sharp head of the pipe inserts the soft membrane as the openning of the capsule.

The delicate mechanical structure is made up of a threaded stick and a pipe which has threaded inside.

INTERNAL STRUCTURE Slow gear motor drives the extrusion equipmentment.

EXTRUDING MOISTURIZING LOTION The plastic component goes down to let lotion be extrubed through the holes positioned in the metal components. IMPORTING After the plastic component going up, the two pieces of metal component will produce microcurrent to help skin absorb moisturizing lotion.

When motor working, the pipe which has threaded inside rotate and it cause the threaded stick rotate as well. So the moistruzing lotion is extruded and go up.

Exploring Integrated Smart Textiles and Wearable Electronics for Posture Correction and Treatment

A POSTURE CORRECTION GARMET EVO-POSTURE is a smart textile integrated posture correction garment suitable for the office context. Using EeonTex fabric as dynamic sensors to map and measure pressure distribution, it can analyze posture information and then create distinguishable haptic cues by pneumatic tactile stimuli for posture correction. And with multiple Infrared sensors indisde, it analyze body situation in long term.

USER RESEARCH Bad sitting posture for office workers can lead to a medley of potential health hazards, including fatigue, muscle tension, difficulty breathing.

OBS E RVATION & INTE RV IE W There are many people surranding me are surffering from back pain caused by wrong sitting posture. We observated about 20 students in design studio of XJTLU. We took photos and writed the time they changing their sitting posture or stand up. We also took notice of their actions and working environment. In interview, we asked them several questions about their diamend for the monitor device.

In our research, we explored different sensing and feedback alternatives to prevent and provide treatment for pain caused by bad sitting posture. Consequently, we integrated selected sensing and feedback mechanisms into a smart garment suitable for the office context.

Most of the tasks they do involves both computer work and paper work. During the work time they are occasionally distracted by other thing (phone, chats...) The positions of the pain on the body are various. The product shouldn’t disturb users’ work. The product should guide the user how to sit in a right posture.


DEFINE&DESIGN Basic on the four main questions, we made the concept map to think out lots of elements in different direction to define the project. Then we took a brainwriting to design different ideas.
