城市養蜂環境活化計畫
Urban beekeeping & environment enlivening plan
設計背景 Design Background 在人類的食物中,有超過三分之一的作物需仰賴蜜 蜂授粉才能存活,但因為氣候變遷以及使用慣行農 法等因素,造成蜜蜂正逐漸消失,而蜜蜂的消失正 逐漸造成生態失衡。 In the food of mankind, more than one-third of the crops rely on bee pollina�on to survive. However, climate change and pes�cides are causing bee disappearing. The bee gradual disappearance of the bees can cause ecological imbalances.
發展過程 Design Process 資料蒐集 Research
城市養蜂是一種較不受化學農藥所影響的養蜂方式,也因為城市中的熱島 效應讓城市成為一個適合蜜蜂生存的區域,目前世界各地也紛紛響應城市 養蜂的趨勢。蔡明憲老師是台灣第一位推行城市養蜂的專家,透過訪談我 們更了解推行過程中所遇到的阻礙。 Urban beekeeping is a solu�on that is less affected by pes�cides, and also Urban Heat Island Effect makes city become a well living place of bees. Urban beekeeping has become popular around the world. Tsai Ming Hsien is the first promoter of urban beekeeping in Taiwan, so we had a interview with him to know how difficult within promo�ng urban beekeeping.

我們與雲林當地的養蜂業者合作,利用一個月 的時間親身體驗養蜂的過程,同時也透過訪談 更加了解到蜜蜂其實並非想像中那麼可怕。
We cooperated with Honey Museum in Yulin, and spent one month experiencing how to keep bees. Within the process, we realized that bees aren’t that horrible as most people thought.
痛點分析 Problem Analysis 因大多民眾對蜜蜂觀感不 佳,容易與在自家飼養蜜 蜂的居民產生衝突。 Most people afraid of bees, so they may argue with who keeping bees in thier own house.

草模發展 Prototype
第一階段原型 : 探討蜂箱形式的大方向,以及嘗試不同出口構造和植栽方式。
第二、三階段原型 : 蜂箱及搖蜜機操作架構確定,精修產品外型。
製作過程 : 以EK及PU兩種發泡材作為原型製作材料,利用現有工具機嘗試多種可能。

設計概念 Design Concept 我們建立一套新的城市養蜂計畫,有別於現有民眾在自家空地養蜂,我們 希望以社區型養蜂的方式,由管理員定期來進行養蜂的管理,而民眾透過 種植蜜源植物來優化蜜蜂在城市的生存環境,我們設計得養蜂裝置,能提 供蜜蜂更好的生存空間且不影響人群。藉由此計畫,使民眾更願意與蜜蜂 共生,也讓城市的環境更加活化及美化。 We set up a new urban beekeeping program, and it’s different from people keeping bees in thier house. By a community-based plan�ng site adop�on, the public op�mizes the bees’ living environment by plan�ng honey plants, and the administrator will organize the beehives twice a week. The beekeeping device we designed provides a be�er living place for bees and keeps the bees from affec�ng the public. Through this plan, we hope to make the public more willing to coexist with the bees and enliven the city environment.

設計背景 Design Background 腰酸背痛、頸椎刺痛是現代人的文明病,因為電腦的頻繁使用,再加上久坐於辦 公室工作,導致長期的姿勢不良,等同於慢性殘害著身體,若不強加預防,往往 衍生出難以挽回的病症。
Backache and neck pain are the civilized disease of modern people. Because the frequent use of computer and si�ng for a long �me during work, it easily leads to long term bad si�ng posture, which will harm the body chronically. If the problem is not prevented, it will bring out unrecoverable disease.

久坐於辦公室的上班族是受困於坐姿問題最龐大的族群, 因此希望從中了解問題根源,並且導入物理治療的方法 讓使用者更正確的舒緩病症。 Office workers si�ng in office all day are the main group of people suffering from si�ng posture problems. Therefore, we hope to find the root of the problem, and ease the illness correctly through physical therapy method.

設計前期我們與國立陽明大學物理治療暨輔助科技系合 作,除了學習了許多關於頸椎復健的正確知識,也得到 許多產品設計上的回饋。
At the prior period, we cooperate with the department of Physical Therapy and Assis�ve Technology in Na�onal Yang-Ming University. Not only did we learn the knowledge about physiotherapy, but we also got lots of feedback for our design concept.

物理治療法 Physical Therapy
收下巴運動是一種簡單且能有效舒緩頸椎肌肉 的方式,建議每次做滿一分鐘,每隔40-60分 鐘做一次。 Chin tuck exercise is a simple and effec�ve way to ease our neck muscle. It is recommended to do some chin tucks for one minute once every 40 to 60 minutes.

觀察及訪談 Observa�on & Interview
使用電腦時會常常不自覺地將頸部往前看清螢 幕,而使用筆電者更為嚴重。藉由訪談也更加 了解上班族群對辦公椅的需求及喜好。
People, especially notebook users, tend to pull thier neck forward unconsciously while using computers in order to look at the screen clearly. We study the requirement and preference of office chairs through interviewing office workers .

即使現在市面上推出各式各樣的人體工學辦公椅,然而在工作時 卻因為缺乏坐姿的提醒而仍會保持長時間坐姿不良的狀態。另一 方面,大多數人並不熟知物理治療的方法,即使知道也較不願在 辦公室做伸展。 Although there are various types of ergonomic chair on the market, people s�ll sit in bad postures for long �me owing to the lack of posture reminders. On the other hand, most people don’t fully understand physiotherapy methods. And for those who know, they are not comfortable to do stretches in offices.
初步概念 Ini�al Concept 配合必須長時間盯著電腦螢幕的工作模式,我們設計一款定時在螢幕上強迫式 出現的提醒介面,搭配一款頭枕裝置,導入收下巴運動這項治療方式。在做運 動的同時,可在螢幕上檢視自己姿勢是否正確,達到在座位上即可舒緩痠痛。

To match the screen-staring work style of office workers, we designed a pillow device and a reminder interface that pops up the screen periodically. The design guides users to doing chin tuck therapy correctly by viewing the posture on screen, and therefore be able to ease the pain on seat.

On the other hand, most office chairs on the market are the type without pillow. So we posi�oned this product to be an add-on part of the high-back chair without pillow in order to reduce the threshold of buying the product and to fit the needs of most people.

草模製作過程中嘗試多種與辦公椅結合的架構,頭枕與腰墊的型態也做過多次調整。 In the prototyping period, I tried various types of structure to combine to the chair. The forms of cushion and pillow were also adjusted many �mes.

設計概念 Design Concept Neck and Spine Guardian 是一款客製化的頸椎姿勢監測 裝置,利用身體掃描及3D列印的技術,為顧客量身訂做最 適合自己身體的腰墊跟頭枕,並能結合電腦介面,即時監 測及提醒坐姿,另外也能輔助顧客做收下巴運動,達到確 實舒緩肌肉的療效。
Neck and Spine Guardian is a customized neck and spine posture monitoring device. It uses body reversed scan and 3D prin�ng technology to manufacture cushion and pillow which tailors each customer. Moreover, the device is linked to computer interface that reminds and monitors users’ posture immediatelly. It can also guide users to do chin tuck exercise correctly and maintain a good posture.

設計背景 Design Background 單車環島是台灣普遍的一種休閒活動,然而單車車體結構外露,在 環島途中容易因為地形或天氣而發生需要維修的狀況,其中最常發 生的狀況是破胎。 一旦在沒有維修場所的區域破胎,勢必需要自行 攜帶工具維修。 Cycling around the island is a very common leisure ac�vity in Taiwan. But the structure of the bike is usually exposed and can be easily damaged and needed to be repaired because of terrain or weather during the trip. Broken �re is the most common situa�on. If the broken �re situa�on happens at a place without a repairing sta�on, then it is inevitable to carry a repairing kit along.

以單車環島或單車長途騎乘的愛好者為目標族群。 在長途旅行的經驗中,負重輕量化能增加旅行的方 便性,因此希望整合破胎所需的維修工具,設計一 款便於攜帶的換胎工具組。 Cycling around the island and long-distance bikers are the main target users. During a long-distance bike trip, reducing the weight of the gear can enhance the convenience of the ride. Therefore the project is aimed to integrate �re repairing tools and design a kit that is easy to carry along.

設計概念 Design Concept 針對單車環島時發生破胎的狀況,設計一款整合式的 換胎工具組。以輕巧的外型容納了六角扳手、挖胎棒 及打氣工具。透過綁帶,產品長條的造型能方便結合 於車身,輕量化的攜帶可謂最適合長途旅行的單車車 手。

Aimed to solve broken �re problems during long-distance rides, the product integrate the tools needed to repair �res. It contains a hexagonal wrench, a �re lever and a infla�ng set in a dexterous shape. The product can easily a�ach to the bike with a band, and the lightweight let the product may be said the most suitable gear to carry.

設計背景 Design Background 邊騎乘自行車邊喝水必須單手駕馭自行車, 容易造成意外,雖然市面上有自行車水壺能 夠以嘴把開瓶喝水,但仍舊有許多使用上的 缺點。希望能設計新的飲水模式,讓騎乘者 喝水時不必停下腳步。 Drinking with one hand while riding bike can be dangerous and may cause accident. although there are many bo�les design for bikers that can be opened with mouth on the market, but there are s�ll many drawbacks. This project is aimed to design a new way to drink for bikers.

以公路車競賽車手為目標對象,車手即使在喝水也必須不停 歇的持續前進,因此設計目標希望在不影響騎乘的狀況下, 讓車手在補給過程中能更有效率的補充。 Road bikers are the target users, they need to keep moving forward even while drinking water. The purpose of the design is to keep the bikers hydrated efficiently without affec�ng riding condi�on.

2. 飲水時視線轉移易造成危險 Drinking with eyes looking away from raod can be dangerous.

草圖發想 Sketch
1. 將水源移至上方,利用重力讓補給順流而下,並能多次替換水源。 Move the water source upward and uses gravity to lead water down, and allow changing warer source. 2. 採用兩公升水箱搭配迷你水瓶,利用擠壓的方式一口補給,可補給數次。 Pair up a 2L water tank with a mini bo�le, and drink by squeezing the bo�le each �me.

The use of the light metal, foamed aluminum, on the helmet can reduce the weight and increase heat dissipa�on.
設計概念 Design Concept 改變現有飲水模式,將水源移至安全帽上,並搭配有 效的補給時間,每15分鐘僅補給125~200毫升,並將 每次補給的小型補給瓶裝載於模組式水架上,讓公路 車競賽車手更有效補充體力並專注於騎乘。 The design changes the way of drinking for bikers. The water source is moved to the helmet with the supply �me of drinking 125~200 ml per 15 minutes. The small supply bo�les are placed on the modularized holder. The design hope to increase the water drinking efficiency and keep the bikers focused on the race.

此項設計為產學合作案,由龍熙企業股份有限公司委託,改善現 有電鑽起子收納盒 (右圖)之使用方式及缺點,並期望以量產為前 提,設計一款符合消費者使用的產品。 This is an industry-academy coopera�on project commissioned by Rungsee Industry CO., LTD. The enterprise hoped to improve the usage and the drawbacks of the bit set and design a product to fit the usage of customers under the premise of mass produc�on.

1. 按壓開關接觸面積小,疼痛感明顯。
The smallness of the opening switch cause pain when opening the lid. 2. 起子凸量太短,徒手拔取易使手部疼痛。

3. 若將收納盒置於腰上使用,操作時視角不易辨識起子種類。 The angle of the bit set while wore on waist can be difficult for user to iden�fy the types of bit. 4.若將收納盒拿起使用,則無法單手操作。 The bit set can’t be used one-handed if being held on hand.
目標族群 Target User 以歐美 DIY 手工具使用族群為主要目標市場。因歐美市 場專業修繕人力成本高,故此族群具有偏好自行修繕、 組裝家具的特性。
We target European and American DIY tool users as the main selling market. Because of the high-cost of professional labor, the DIY users tend to repair and assemble furniture by self.

1. 退出起子的介面做於上方 The bit-releasing interface was designed on the top. 2. 起子凸量 6.5mm 夾取效果最佳 6.5mm protrusion was the best length for clamping bits.

設計概念 Design Concept 打破市面上電鑽起子收納盒僅有收納的功用,將產品導入 電鑽的使用流程,不僅能用產品夾取難拔的起子,不必再 徒手使用,也能輕鬆的單手操作,不必卸下手上正在使用 的電鑽,讓收納盒也能是一項必備的手工具。 Different from the bit sets currently on the market, we bring the bit set into the usage procedure of the power drill. The product can not only easily take out the bits without using bare hands, but it can also be used one-handed without pu�ng down the power drill, making the bit set an essen�al tool for DIY users.

此項設計為產學合作案,由龍熙企業股份有限公司委託, 改善現有工具盒 (右圖)之使用方式及缺失,並期望以量產 為前提,設計一款符合消費者使用的產品。 This project is an industry-academy coopera�on project, commissioned by Rungsee Industry CO., LTD. The enterprise hoped to improve the usage and drawbacks of the tool box and design a product that fit the usage of customers under the premise of mass produc�on.

以工具車收納是許多重度DIY使用者的收納方式, 以模組式分類將工具收納於櫃中。 Using a tool cart to sort is very common among DIY users. The tools are usually sorted in modular sets in different cabinets.
工具使用
大多工具箱皆需要攤平在地來使用,也有部分 使用者使用工具車。 Most tool boxes require a flat surface to place while using. Some users prefer tool carts as well.
1. 使用時佔空間。 The large space taken up while using. 2. 工具盒無全部緊配,打開時易掉落。 The tools are not well a�ached to the box and can easily fall down while closing. 3. 卡扣易損壞。 The buckles can break easily. 4. 工具往返拿取麻煩。 Walking back and forth to take the tools can be �ring.

設計概念 Design Concept 以模組化的方式將工具分成四類,使用者可依照不同的用 途單獨抽取模組盒,有別於以往需提著笨重的工具箱。另 外工具盒能夠站立使用,避免使用時佔據空間。在收納的 部分,模組盒的尺寸能剛好收納於工具車,亦能滿足於工 具車的使用者。 The tools are modularized into four sorts. Different from the carrying the whole heavy tool box, users can easily grab a single modular box. The tool box can also stand up straight to save working space. The size of each modular box is well fi�ed to tool carts and can meet the need of tool cart users.

工具配置 Procedure 工具的配置是依照不同的使用情境來 做分類,使用者不僅能更精確地找到 所需的工具,也能更輕便地攜帶。 The tools are sorted by different usage scenarios. Users can easily find and take the tools in need more accurately.

模型製作 Model Making CNC 操作 CNC 有緣在系上老師的培育下管理學校的 CNC,並創立 CDF 模 型工作室,此工作室是我與兩位大學同學共同創辦的。我們 提供低價的模型製作服務,但品質不亞於業界水準,希望校 內學生都能獲得 CNC 的資源。 With the help of the teacher, I had the chance to manage and operate the CNC equipment at school. My two school mates and I established a modeling studio, CDF. We offered low price but high quality modeling service, and our purpose was to let the students of our school benefit from the CNC resource.
