As our contribution to Sunderland's city wide #LoveSunderlandHeritage fortnight Seventeen Nineteen are celebrating all things Georgian-including a Georgian fayre filled with traditional snacks, music and crafts

Georgian Scrapbooking

31 May, 1:30pm

In this artist led workshop you'll make a traditionally bound stab journal with artist Pui Lee. You'll learn about the emergence of scrapbooks and their boom in popularity during the Victorian era. Free, donations welcome

Georgian Bonnets

2 June, 10am-12pm

As part of our Georgian Fayre we're decorating traditional Bonnets, you'll use ribbon, dried and faux flowers, lace and fruit to trim your bonnet. We'll also be hosting a promenade through the church so you can show of your new bonnet while you take a turn about the room. Suitable for all ages.

Georgian Walk

Sunderland's parish churchHoly Trinity- was built in 1717 to help the growing town build a strong and ambitious future. We're revisiting some of this Georgian history and architecture in a walking tour of Old Sunderland and beyond.
