SHORT CUT FILM In the first film, through action of projecting sources on the wall can create a fascinating spatial experience. There is nothing can not be changed in the process of shadow experiment. The scale and position of shadow would be varied by movement of lighting. The intervention of this process can be a really small object, like a scrap and it also can be enlarged to cover whole wall. On the other hand, the interaction of camera, space and shadow also can influence the spatial experience.

This project intends to investigate the how shadow magnifies everyday activities to an architectural or urban scale as a theatre through projective geometry. The spaghetti junction provides a stage to demonstrate this shadow per formance a reliable context, which is important to connect all dynamic elements (vehicles, people, activities). Base on this background, I tried to describe architecture in the relationship between shadow, light resource and light acceptors and maximize the production and process of shadow to see the influence of building. However, the architectural composition is built on animate shadow, which reflects and rescales the market actives inside the building on the surface of building.

OBJECTS IN THE GREEN --SOCIETY HOUSE AND PARK --2009-2010 --Feng-Chia University The purpose of this project is to discuss unban renewal issue. The site (Yung-Chun street) of this project is located in Taipei city. Because of the historical background, it develops an organic community gradually and inhabitants live here by a special life style. They expand their house area to street, they communicate to each other on the street, wish clothing on the street, and even watch TV on the street, etc. It looks like a massy street outwardly, whereas I want to try to find the other else of concealment, and use the result to renew this village.
OBSERVATION OF THE SITE Because of lack of living space, inhabitants who live in Yung-Chun Street move their furniture which belong interior original to outside. The single house include a house unit and some parts of street, while Yung-Chun Street consist of these house units, all inhabitants live on the street. The street consist of object, area and connection, these elements of space interact on each other.
THE OBJECT
THE AREA
THE CONNECTION
Belongings of inhabitants are such as washbasin, wash machine, bike etc.
Each object would create varied size areas due to different usage pattern.
Because the relation of usage pattern, it have connection between object and object, like chair and table.

PROCESS OF HOUSING UNITS DISPOSITION
CONCEPT
Organize housing units though the way of units, connectings and fields.
Redefine objects, connects and areas, and break the orginal thinking of space. use objects to define space not by walls.
1. Normal house plan In tranditonal space plan, living room and dining room are public space. Kitchen, rooms and bathroom are privacy space.
2. The relationships of house objects. Breaking the wall, the relationships of space are indistinct and then emerge new connections. It is a general thing that use wall to define the space first, and then put the furnitures
3. The relationships of house objects Using objects, connects and field to define space. toilet, shower head and sink are private objects.
4. The relationships of house units. Adding another house unit and put in a new flexible opening space. Because of new objects connections, public space in the house unit and public space in the outside are indistinct. Due to using of the objects make public space is charged.
Using objects to restructure the relations of space.
PROTOTYPE OF HOUSE PLAN
5. objects connection in real plan. The defination of space is based on the Objects, the connections and the Fields, so space in house is more flexible even in the outside.

CITY TERRACE --OFFICE AND COMPANY HEADQUARTERS --2012-
THE Zhan-You CEO office building is a twelve-story office building, and the site is located in Lin-Kou. Lin-Kou is a windy place and the main faรงade faces west, so we use checkshaped to reflect this climate. We wanted to create a lighter check-shaped faรงade and emphasize the business scale, therefore we planned the thicker windowsill and increased the boundary of elevation.
Because of these strategies, the faรงade looked like hang on a mass. We only used two materials in this project, two varied of stone, gray Aluminium Panel and wooden pattern Aluminium. How to use this material correctly was the biggest challenge we faced. This project is constructing now, and being expected to finish in 2015

PUBLIC SPACE ALLOCATION
STEPPED TERRACES
Li-Lan house is a three-story residence, three terrace, three intercolumniations, and over 9 rooms by flexible usage. It located in Li-Lan, Taiwan, because of the law, the minimal architectural height is 10m, and the floor area ratio is only 10%, our main purpose is that maximize the floor area.
In the architectural law, the terrace which is less than 2m does not need to calculate area of building. We use this benefit to enlarge the massing of building and usable floor area. Due to limitation of area and our customer’s program requested, the flexible usage becomes another purpose.

project strategy
This project divides two parts, one part is a renewal unban design, another is an exhibition which explains future plan to local inhabitant. The concept of future plan is basin which symbolizes the landform of Taipei City and we strategically place a media tower into the center to create a new plaza and sign the center of Taipei City.
The exhibition is held for 7 days, there are three days for inhabitant orientation, one day for stockholding meeting and three days for normal exhibition. The challenges of this project are that organize several consultants and design the exhibition in limited time. We designed 360° screen above the showcases which are covered by black mirrors.

EXHIBITION AREA DESIGN
This exhibition was displayed for client’s renewal project, which located in their officebuilding lobby. in this project, our biggest challenge was how can we use this space efficiently. We covered black mirror on original counter to display exhibition and designed 360° screen for projecting video which explained this project for local habitants.
