Motivation letter Dear IFMSA family, It ' s with A great pride and devotion , deepest pleasure , motivation and love to this Federation to send you my candidature for the position of IFMSA-iraq treasurer for the term 2019 - 2020 Empowerment is not something you can buy in a shop, and it does not have a special discount for youth . some times, we have to learn it in the hard way. I have taken every opportunity that came on my way , to involve myself , to involve my friends and colleagues in new experiences , learning opportunities , trainings and workshops to build a stronger movement and more comprehension for youth voices.
IFMSA is a life style , it’s like an addiction , when you start you just can’t stop anymore , it’s not about having a position , it’s about the thing that you are really in love with , even if it takes the bigger part of your life , you will not hesitate to give everything you can and use every potential you have because work is not work when you love what you’re doing.
Through my experience I found out that our strength lies in differences not in similarities That's why being a team is all we need to develop our community. In my opinion, a successful leader is a good listener and the one that let his team members believe in their abilities and their hidden power. I believe that my strong educational background and experience in leadership field makes me an appropriate candidate for the advertised position. As you can see in the enclosed resume, I have been participated in a leadership exchange program called SYGG in 2015 and organizing events with IFMSA-Mosul and I also attended sub regional training organized by IFMSA in 2018. I strongly believe I can perform well all the delegated duties and responsibilities. Being a part of two exchage programs and SYGG gave me the chance to meet people from different backgrounds and different cultures. Throughout my experience in work, I have improved my problem solving, decision making, and communication skills . With the aid of the VPE we will launch a new positions for searching for sponsors in every LC and with the help of our CBDD we will teach them how to find good sponsors for each event ,how to convince the sponsors how they can represent IFMSA in the best way possible, what does the sponsor get in return and most important working together to find permanent sponsors for our events.

This year we'll start looking for the sponsors earlier than the usual it's going to be a continuous process so we won't have to delay any of our events,we want our big main events like the NGA, Spring break to have the greatest financial and moral support we could find

In coordination with the HR we are going to work on the registration process and how we can make it easier for our new members by setting a registration team in all of the LCes and each one of the team will have a Zein cash account to make money transition smooth and simple Ifmsa package; this package will consist of some of the things that many of our active members would need- an ID, a T-shirt with their LC name..etc. It's going to be optional for an extra fees that would be added to their registration fees.

Write all of the events materials (data shows, flips charts, stands, session logistics) and what's left that can be used in future events under the supervision of each LC president and VP in order to make it easier to reach them when ever we need, this would also benefit the next LC presisdent to know what his LC has and what's already availble . Our job would be oraganize these reports and help to make a national database of the availbe materials so we can save more money by avoiding buying unnecessary items.

Work with the president and VPE on the bank account and the final financial report with the aid of a financial lawyer for renew the registration of IFMSA in the department of organizations

Support LC ideas that can help them to develop and make a step forward in the work of the organisation from the national budget, try to make it easier for them to contact us and always encourage them cause being a Treasurer doesn't mean you only work with money we work with all of the members as one family for the best of our home-IFMSA

Lastly but not least all of the events' details would be kept organized and updated regularly by each of the LC VP in Excel sheets forms,these sheets will be very helpful for our work and steps to follow by our future candidates.
