CHIPs partners with local employers with diverse, local talent through a 12-week hands-on internship program.

 CHIP s , the Citywide Hamilton Internship Program, is a 12-week paid internship program for people of color, ages 16-30 in the Hamilton area. Participants have the opportunity to work with local employers who provide handson experience, the chance to develop industry-specific skills, and pathways to leadership success within the community. CHIPS has already been a life-changing experience for participants of the program. In the last two years, the CHIPS program has won the OEDA (Ohio Economic Development Association) for Excellence in Workforce Development. There are many success stories from individuals who have completed the program. CHIPs now boasts over 25 community partners, spanning the public, private, and non-profit sectors.
