Hunting with heroes
The 2022 annual Hunting with Heroes antelope hunt brought in 17 disabled Veterans, who came from all over the U.S to Cheyenne, WY the weekend of October 7-9th. The hunters go out on private land surrounding Cheyenne for up to two days to harvest their antelope with their volunteer guides.
Tom Turner of Cheyenne and I (Codee Dalton) were fortunate enough to guide a young lady, Laura Kelley, US Navy Veteran from Castle Rock, Colorado this year. This was Laura’s first big game hunt and harvest. She also was the only female in the group and walked away with the biggest buck that she plans to shoulder mount and display proudly.
Congratulations to our own

I look forward to this event every year as it brings together a brother/sister hood not only between the hunters but with all involved. We have an amazing presence of volunteers every year that contribute their time, land, facilities, and talents. We couldn’t make this happen without them and we are forever grateful for all their efforts.
This year, like many, was a huge success with all hunters harvesting an antelope! Thank you to our incredible founders Dan & Nelda Currah and Colton Sasser. We look forward to seeing you all at our annual banquet on March 11, 2023 at I am incredibly proud and grateful to be the Archer Complex in Cheyenne, WY. a part of the Hunting with Heroes family since 2018 and proud of everyone If you would like to be a part of Hunting who steps in this arena. getting
# to know you attend trade shows to connect As we look to close our 2022 we are also busy making plans for 2023. Which involves planning our “roadshow”. The Ranch and Recreation team enjoys getting out and hitting the road for a variety of reasons. Our number one goal is always promoting our listings, as we try to maximize every opportunity to showcase our client’s property. We find value in attending these events as it allows us to expose our clients properties to a wide array of potential buyers and allows us to have one on one conversations with each of them. However, there are numerous benefits for our clients to attend these events as well. Trade shows provide a great opportunity for
producers to connect with your industry peers and generate new business opportunities as well. They give you the chance to meet with existing clients, attract new customers or build relationships with suppliers and other businesses who share similar interests. Working in agriculture or even just living in rural America we can easily slip into isolation being our norm. But getting out to trade shows and industry events is a great networking opportunity and allows you to discover the new trends and technology that are available. With winter months coming it is better time than ever to check out your local farm and ranch show, livestock stock show or industry meetings.
