205dpi Dec’14, Special Edition

This issue Dec’14 Special Edition ‘Breathing Space’ A Note from Editor-in-Chief Lois Golding To celebrate the closing of 2014, we put our heads together to think of something fitting. What would be a suitable way to champion the talent we’d showcased throughout the year? What possible improvement could we make on what we’d already been fortunate enough to feature? Decisions of what images to give precedence to can sometimes be based on ‘the group’: the limitations imposed in order to get the best effect in the spirit of the story. Which is why we came up with ‘Breathing Space’. Breathing Space is our chance to appreciate the minor players, the photos that have been tucked away in the corner of a page. A chance to show off these hidden beauties, we give them new focus, a chance to shine in a different light, and allow them – breathing space. On behalf of all at Team 205, we hope you’ve had a great Christmas and a fantastic New Year!
