This project is the most logic award of 2016 L&A Design Star International University Student Design Competition, on the theme of CREATIVE VILLAGE: HEHUA INTERNATIONAL SCENIC AREA DESIGN. The site is located in Hehua, which is a small town on the southwestern boundary line of China. Even though the location of the site has no advantages, however, the natural scenery is pretty good. Thus, considering the theme, we use a method called art intervention to bring the second life to the small town. A initiative model of sharing houses is applied to the small town --- artists and local residents can share the old but characteristic houses together. This model enables three different groups: artists, villagers and tourists to have a good interaction, so as to attract more tourists and increase the economic income of the village. ANALYSIS OF USERS' DEMAND
Through the population survey of the village, we find that the crowd in the village mainly consists of villagers, tourists and artists who have moved in from other places. So we analyze the present condition and future demand of tourists, villagers and artists.

Would you like to RENT out your house?
YES! We do!!!
2F
According to a survey of local villagers, 85% of them want to rent or remould the unused parts of their houses. Through the transformation of architectural function and space, architecture can meet the needs of artist and tourist, and bring economic income to villagers. Bed room Housework room
NATURE PART
At present, there is a part of the site with good natural environment. But tourists can't access or contact the nature. We hope to introduce the traffic system to increase tourists' experience without destroying the local ecosystem.

02 CITY VESSEL Problem: Culture Default, Population Loss, Residents Demand, Pollution Locatin: Chenghua, Chengdu, Sichuan, China Type: Teamwork Project Collaberate: Yang Guang, Zhong Lanxin, Pan Shuai Time: 03/2017-05/2017 Occupation: Site Analysis, Concept Design, Strategy, Masterplan, Space Strategy, Hand form Block, Ecological Design, Planting Design, Section This project is the silver award of 2017 “Yuanlin Cup Sichuan Agricultural University 6th Campus Landscape Design Competition, on the theme of PERMEATING: TIME AND SPACE. The site is located in Er'xianqiao district of Chengdu, which was used to be most developed place of the transportation industry in Chengdu. There were many railways in this district which were similar to vessels of the city, transporting the goods for the city. With the fast development of the city, the railways became obstacles instead of honours. This project is aimed to regenerate the site by the design of industrial heritage site. This design is based on the theory of "Catalysts". The theory of "catalysts" originates from "urban catalysts" which is proposed by Wayne Atton and Donn Logan for the first time.

ANALYSIS OF BACKGROUND
ANALYSIS OF PLANNING Planning Traffic
History Development 1950s Industrial Memory of the East Chengdu There were many logistics and storage enterprises gathering in the east Chengdu, such as Chengdu East Railway Station, the NO. 101 warehouse, etc.
1990s Industrial Upgrading Since 1993, the east Chengdu started to have an industrial transformation. Lots of old enterprises began to move away, and at the same time, some new ones were under construction.
2017 The Old City Renewal The Er'xianqiao district started to renew.

ANALYSIS OF POLLUTION Soil Pollution
Sunlight The wind direction in chengdu is north wind in June,July and August, and north northeast wind in other months, light, heat and water are basically in the same season.
Water Pollution We have researched the soil pollution of the site and found that the main source of pollution is the thermal power plant in the northwest, the electroplating plant in the southeast and the railway inside the site.

Solution Strategy Step2:Hyperaccumulator
Step3:Hhelating Agents
Based on previous research of soil pollution, we replaced the topsoil in the four most polluted areas with uncontaminated soil to achieve the highest purification effect and shorten the purification time.
We have selected some hyperaccumulator plants to be planted in areas that are less polluted for preliminary purification.
We increased the number of types of hyperaccumulator while adding chelating We store agents to promote the absorption of heavy rainwater that metals and to complete the Chelating falls on the thorough purification of soil. agent ground.

PROBLEM COCLUSION
MASTER PLAN
"CATALYSTS" STRATEGY
We use a bridge through the site to make the internal transportation of the site more convenient, connect the commercial buildings on both sides of the site, and design a coherent waterfront activity space along the fangjia river after the diversion. Finally, we reflect the site's history and culture through structures.
Problem1:The Lack of Interaction
Currently the site has a large amount of abandoned land and a small amount of industrial land, and some functions of the site cannot serve the surrounding urban environment.
"CATALYSTS"
We use the theoretical method of urban catalyst to solve the three major problems existing in the site: loss of contact with surrounding cities, poor site transportation and environmental pollution.
a. site
b. import the factor of accelerant
f. nature intervention (river)
g. nature intervention (green space)

03 BROWNFIELD "RENAISSANCE" Problem: Residents Demand, Pollution,Urban Traffic Locatin: Jiading, Shanghai, China Type: Individual Project Time: 07/2018-09/2018 This project is the entry for the 2018 Shanghai Urban Design Challenge. With the continuous development and industrial upgrading of Shanghai, many heavy industries originally in Shanghai have been eliminated. The project site is a 36.28 hectare industrial brownfield in jiading district, which has caused negative impact on the surrounding urban environment and become a serious urban problem. In the design of this project, we mainly determined the design of our project through the needs of urban residents and the urban planning of Shanghai. We try to provide urban residents with a more comfortable, convenient and safe urban space that can meet their diverse needs.

GREEN SPACE-WUSONG RIVER ECOLOGICAL DESIGN Existing Problem Rubbish Littering On both sides of the river are littering everywhere.
Sludge There is a lot of sludge in the river which is smelly and full of bacterium.
Eutrophication Sanitary wastewater is discharge into the river making it eutrophication.
Heavy Metal Pollution By communicating with the river's cleanup crew, we learn that the river is also contaminated with heavy metals from industrial wastewater.

Step2 Clean up the flotsam on the river and drain the oil and other liquids from the surface of the river.
Step3 Clean up the sludge at the bottom of the river
Step4 Filter larger impurities with a strainer and clean them regularly.
Step5 The problems of water eutrophication, heavy metal pollution and Inorganic Pollution is solved by planting aquatic plants with purification capacity.
The Lack Of Function The current site waterfront area is mostly used in industry and cannot provide more functions.
Too Much Hard Paving At present, most of the riverside areas are hard pavement for industry and lack of management of rain and flood systems.
Revetment Monotonous The riverbank revetment is hard and the form of revetment is single without any change.
Strategy Step1 Increase the activity space along the river
Step2 Transform part of the hard revetment into ecological revetment.
