ABOUT ME

From the earliest days of my childhood, I have always had an intense passion for all things beautiful; things designed with a intent and purpose. I have always been a secret admirer of thoughtful design works that we come across in our daily lives – those that are so seamlessly integrated that we can easily take for granted, but impact our lives in a truly meaningful way. My mission is to perpetuate this idealogy that beautiful can be daring without being crass. I aspire to create thoughtful, beautiful spaces that are aesthetically engaging, and function at the highest level. I hope you enjoy my portfolio. Yi

HOSPITALITY

SHAN SHI LAS VEGAS

A well-established chef who gained acclaim for her use of modernist techniques to bring Asian fusion to a new level of so phistication. After years of culinary train ing and experience, she ventured out to open her very first fine dining restaurant. She named the restaurant “Shan Shi”. The name comes from Chinese. “Shan” means wholesome, and “Shi” means food. She expects the restaurant design to repre sent her value and mission statement – A place where food and hospitality are made into art. The balanced design reflects her high culinary standards, while simultaneously providing a welcoming ambiance for this large capacity venue.

SITE ANALYSIS 8925 sq. ft.

The Las Vegas Fashion Show is a unique mall with a large selection of designer name brand stores and boutiques. Las Vegas attracts over 40 million tourists annually, and is one of the top destinations in the US for shopping, entertainment, and dining. The Fashion Show Mall is strategically situated along the famous Las Vegas Boulevard, aka “The Strip”, near upscale hotels such as the Wynn & Encore, and accommodates thousands of visitors daily.
