URBAN ARTS CENTER
The project is located in Jubilee hills, beside Neerus’ emporio. This is a major junction in the city center. And there’s a metro line in the south direction in close 8 mt distance. The project brief was to design a arts centre that will be multi-functional, transormative building that enables culttural activities and enterprises, events and meetings.

The concept was to design a multifunctional and transormable spaces. As the project brief was to design spaces for art and daily public activities, it is important to be able connect and disconnect these spaces. I’ve included mainly 2 courtyards in my design. The 1st courtyard is connected to public spaces such as library, cafe, mini art gallery and retail shops. The 2nd courtyard connects to the main gallery and workshops. These 2 courtyards are designed on raised plinth which indicates the sense of heirarchy of the building in the urban context.

CONCEPT
Basement Floor plan
Basement floor is mainly used for visitors parking. And also the art gallery’s service core is connected to the basement for the loading of the art work
Ground Floor plan
In the ground floor, the main entrance is towards the main road from which we access the building through the raised plinth. The first courtyard connects to library, cafes, retail shops and to the mini art gallery.

First Floor plan In the first floor, there is a library, workshop and art gallery. There are 2 bridges connecting mini art gallery to workshop and to the main gallery building.
Second Floor plan It is the last floor of the main gallery. Which has skylights for the natural ventilation.

GENERAL HOSPITAL
The project is located in village rudraram, hyderbad. This site is set in rural context and there is a university in 1 km distance. The project brief was to design a 50 bedded hospital, providing a short term care for people with severe health issues resulting from injury, disease or genetic anomoly. And to design a modern hospital with out-patient facilities, as well as emergency, inpatient and rehabilitation services.

CONCEPT
A hospital has to cater mainly for the rehabilitation and well-being of the patients. It is important plan a hospital strategically. Nature is best therapy for rehabilitation. The ground floor has a courtyard which connects to the waiting areas of the OPD and emergency. The facade of the building is mainly designed with maximum of windows. This allows natural light into the required areas. I’ve also created voids in the upper floor of the building, which gives an oppurtunity to connect with the nature,

The project is located in manikonda, hyderbad. The site in surrounded with residential buildings and there’s a lake in the south-east direction. The project brief was to design a resident complex for the middle income group family. The design was focused on creating a modern and vibrant complex with cost-effective design interventions.
RESIDENTIAL COMPLEX

LOCATION Manikonda, Hyd Area 2084 sq mt
The site has vehicular entrance/exit and pedestrian entrance. The setback of the site is mainly used for vehicular circulation. A small couryard is provided at the stilt level. The block is designed with stilt parking and four floors for the residential complex. There are 6 flats in each floor. And all the floors can be accessed through lift and a staircase.

All the 6 flats are double bedroom apartments. The facade of all the apartments is made up of red brick cladding.
And the balconies are extruded to add more space and to create an interesting facade. All the rooms access to natural ventilation, huge glazed windows and sliding doors in the living rooms.
