Outline I'd like to fathom the true nature of beauty, When I come across something aesthetic, I would unconsciously explore what it is inspired from and how it is created. By pushing my limits in the artistic design of architecture, I want to live my life as Ludwig Mies Van der Rohe once put it: I don't want to be interesting. I want to be good.

[Neo-Daoism] Refamiliarizing the "Unfamiliar" Religious Temple | ChongQing, China | HUUC Studio V 2019.6

Today's Taijitu between citizen and daoists is more like a incomplete one - Only two conflicting parts against each other , there is no such thing as harmony in there anymore. This project focused on how to allow two groups of people (Daoists live in this temple and its Visitors) who

were originally separated from each other to contact each other again and regain harmony from each other's ideology . Expected to bring the traditional philosophy of Daoism into the modern society again. And make the Taiji whole again through letting the two parts interact.

It's sort of purposeful acceptance of the way of the Dao, follow where the water goes. We spend so much time rushing from one place to the next in life, being preoccupied with anxiety and ambition, it's time to slow down and regain moments of the human experience that in our nuture. 12

02 [Duality] Gallery Fluctuate Between Order and Chaos

Public Gallery | Henan, CN | Academic Project | 2017.11

Geometry order & chaos have always existed in the architectural and urban sturcture together. But they are never two separate states. Reanalyse order and chaos After taking The Fourth Dimension in architecture - " TIME " into consideration, the perception of these two states is more like a changing process,

the influence of self-organization process, means that the architectur al space in the long run is unforeseable and still changing. in this project i intend to stress the changing process and manipulate the space into moving in N dimensions and surprising the visitors, in other words it should not be predictable.

Space in the Long Run is Unpredictable and Still Changing

The evidence of self-organization in the urban structure of Barcelona is visible. Since the 19th century, the new part of the city was composed in identical blocks, but after taking the Fourth Dimension TIME into consideration, that is, after the whole areas were completely developed, all the blocks were developed in their individual ways. Similiarly, The photo of an elevation of tenement in China shows that one state could transform to its opposite state.

Experiment - Part I

In this part, the embodiment of self-selection& self-influence in this Gallery setting woulds be discussed. The whole visiting process is no longer linear, but full of unpredictability. With the unpredictability, visitors' self-selection disrupts the original planning in the whole process.
