BILL BUCHMAN – New York based artist, musician, educator and author whose expressive work draws on his extensive musical background. An intimate familiarity with what is meant by a harmony, a melody and a rhythm inform his every move with the paintbrush. Buchman’s career has spanned more than fifty years and he is known for abstractions characterized as “symphonies of space, form and color” and his figures (which are described as “lightning bursts of energy condensed into a fine line”).

EVAN SEBASTIAN LAGACHE – Born from Nirvana, a transcendent state in which there is neither suffering, desire, nor sense of self, Evan Sebastian Lagache has emerged. The subject is released from the effects of karma and the cycle of death and rebirth. Raised by rhythm, Lagache's art emulates visions of growth and decline through passing time. Rising and falling with the tides, his work follows light to escape
IRAN ISSA KHAN – Born in Tehran and raised in Europe and the United States, Khan began her art photography in the late ’70s in New York under the mentorship of William Minor, Jr. Immersed in this period around influences such as Horst and Avedon, she began working as a professional fashion photographer. During the ’80s and ’90s she photographed some of the most memorable fashion icons (including Paulina Porizkova, Debbie Dickinson, Iman and Christy Turlington) for the covers of Harper’s Bazaar and Vogue. In 2000 she transitioned from photographing beautiful people and celebrities to flowers and objects of nature. Her photographic work has captured the sensuality of flora and fauna, immediately translating their natural beauty into sensuous art forms.

BYRON KEITH BYRD – He was raised on a farm in rural Georgia and earned his BFA from the University of West Georgia in 1978, when there was extraordinary new energy gathering around the arts and New York City was a magnet for young artists. He moved to New York where he lived and worked during the 1980s and 1990s. In the fullness of life, the artist's mature work is intuitive, direct and expresses a deep painterly relationship with the canvas. His unrestrained brushstrokes evoke Stone Age hieroglyphs amidst veils and layers of color. His works incorporate a range of media from oil and acrylic to watercolor; his practice encompasses drawing, sculpture, printmaking and installation.

MARY REID – Born in New Jersey and raised in Arizona, where she began painting at the age of six. Inspired by Renaissance artists as well as academic painters and impressionists, Reid’s paintings are a combination of classical realism and her natural inclination for vibrant, intense color. Evoking passionate feelings through subject and symbolism, Reid’s art encompasses an entire story in one portrait: a timeless concept, which resonates within our modern image-driven society. She invites us to reflect on our own experiences through her close-up, empathetic observation of humanity, fueled by compositional symmetry and harmonious color. While Reid embraces the technical aspects of creating art, she reveres the painterly effects of looser brushstrokes that perfectly capture the play of light.
