There were several factors that led me to venture into the world of golf. Firstly, my mother, residing in Korea, has an immense passion for the sport and often expressed her enthusiasm during our conversations. Recognizing that there was a disconnect that stemmed from my lack of interest and knowledge of golf, I was motivated to explore the world of golf. Additionally, I noticed a rising surge of interest in golf within the social media community, particularly with a lack of female representation. I identified an opportunity to fill this void and contribute to the golf social media sphere. I then took my platform to create Golf with Mi. I contacted OFTV and managed to pitch an idea for a show that was about real conversations while golfing. I host, produce and edit my show. I have creative control and it's extremely empowering.

What’s the secret to improving your golf game?

Dedicated practice, consistent recording, professional lessons, and engaging in rounds with other golfers are essential components.

As a model, actress and influencer, how important is your diet & exercise routine?

As a model, actress, and influencer, maintaining a balanced diet and regular exercise routine holds immense importance in my life. Prioritizing my overall health and well-being serves as a fundamental pillar, enabling me to navigate the demands of my profession and achieve optimal performance. By prioritizing self-care and focusing on a healthy lifestyle, I believe in cultivating the strength and resilience necessary to overcome any challenges that may arise.

Any workout tips for women who would like to have an amazing body?

I appreciate the compliment, but I believe that every woman should strive to feel confident in her own body, embracing her unique beauty. In terms of workout tips, I would suggest prioritizing consistency in your exercise routine, finding a supportive workout partner for motivation and accountability, and ultimately integrating fitness into your lifestyle as a long-term commitment to your health and well-being.

What’s the secret to being an effective influencer?

While I believe that there is no one-size-fits-all formula for being an effective influencer, I have found that continuous creativity, meaningful collaborations, and a keen understanding of audience preferences are crucial elements. By consistently striving to innovate and provide diverse content that resonates with followers, influencers can cultivate engagement, authenticity, and sustained interest among their audience.

Are there any new projects or passions you care to share with our readers?

I am excited to announce that I have been granted the incredible opportunity to open for San Diego Swim Week, which is a project I am truly looking forward to. This upcoming event holds great significance for me, and I am eagerly anticipating the memorable moments that will unfold.

We’ve featured international health influencer Jen Selter on a previous magazine cover - and the interest was off the charts… why do you think Jen has become such a huge star in the fitness industry?

Jen Selter has garnered significant acclaim in the fitness industry due to her pioneering approach of sharing her fitness routines and showcasing her physical progress, particularly focusing on her booty. As one of the early adopters of leveraging social media as a freelance creative, she successfully paved the way for the millennial generation, establishing a loyal following. Her authenticity, dedication, and relatability have played a pivotal role in propelling her to become a prominent figure and a source of inspiration for fitness enthusiasts worldwide.

Are any other fun hobbies besides golf and working out?

In my spare time, I indulge in the creative pursuits of cooking and artistic expression (drawing/ painting/interior decorating). These hobbies offer a delightful balance to my golfing and workout routines, enriching my life with diverse forms of enjoyment and personal fulfillment.

Tell us a little more about your acting and modeling career.

My journey in the realms of acting and modeling started at the age of 14 when I signed representation with a traditional modeling agency. Over the years, I have dedicated myself to honing my skills through acting classes and have had the privilege of being featured in various magazines, print campaigns, commercials and movies. Presently, I have attained a significant milestone by creating a role in my own production golf show, allowing me to showcase the fruits of my labor and take charge of my career trajectory.

Our publisher, Chase Backer, just opened a MedSpa in Palm Beach that specializes in regenerative stem-cell therapy for athletic injuries - any thoughts on stem-cell therapy to heal sports injuries?

I hold a strong belief in the potential of stem cell therapy as a means to facilitate the healing process for sports injuries, as well as various other health-related conditions.
