A BREATH OF FRESH AIR

The kitchen is very much the heart of the home, as seen in this home by Exo Construction.

BESPOKE INSPIRATION

I completely fell in love with the ‘Enduring Style’ home featured in the July/August issue of Abode. Not only does it have stunning high ceilings and views worth staying home for, it also boasts one of the best bookcases I’ve ever seen. I’m feeling inspired and am planning for a bespoke bookcase of my own as we speak.

ROOM TO MOVE

It’s great to see a kitchen/dining/living space that caters for a larger family (Abode July/August, ‘A breath of fresh air’). The kitchen is very much the heart of our home too, but it’s still a work in progress. This was definitely one for our home reno scrapbook.

SEASIDE DREAM

What a fabulous job they did of the Kaik ōura rebuild (Abode July/August, 'A Stone's Throw'). The new house suits the amazing site perfectly. Absolutely superb.

TIM, KAIAPOI A HEARTFELT HOME

Hi Anna, what a great magazine! We have fully renovated our 1920s bungalow and used some of your articles to inspire us. We have gone with our heart, not trends. As William Morris said, “Do not have anything in your home that you don’t consider beautiful or useful.” As a result, we have a stunning, eclectic home.
