其實,我會踏上設計這條路真的很湊巧。我高三那一年剛考完學測,成績還不錯但是也沒有到最好,所以我就在考慮到底要申請什麼學校。那個時候其實對 自己到底適合什麼科目都還懵懵懂懂,因為在學校就是一直念書考試,也沒什麼機會去探索新的事物,所以只大概知道自己哪一科成績比較好、可能適合念什麼科系 之類的。有一次在上美術課的時候,老師跟我們介紹了工業設計這個職業,那是我第一次聽說有這個職業,於是我就稍微查了一下相關資料。我發現這是一個全新的 領域,我從來沒想過美學可以與我們的生活這麼息息相關。我想起小時候總是很喜歡把玩具拆開再組裝回去,研究裡面的機構,現在也還是很愛自己拆拆裝裝一些東 西。而且,在學校做智力測驗的結果發現我的空間概念相當的好,很能夠掌握立體的形狀。我本來以為我只能去唸機械工程相關的科系,想不到還有另一條路可以選 擇,於是我就跟老師打聽了一下這個科系的相關狀況、邊學邊做的準備了作品集去申請學校,而很幸運的我也申請上了台灣科技大學的創意設計菁英班。 進入了台科大就讀後,我選擇了工業設計作為主修。在學校的課程中我慢慢對設計有了更多的了解,從基本設計課點線面的運用、模型製作的油土塑形,一 直到更進階的產品設計要考慮人與物的關係,每一步都讓我更有經驗、更有能力去做設計。我尤其擅長模型製作這個項目,除了基本的封扣版、EK、PU、代木、油 土、ABS、壓克力這些材料之外,我還會嘗試其它特殊材料與加工方式,還會從現有的產品中尋找可用的零件與機構來裝到我的模型上。這也讓我在大二的時候被選為 擔任模型製作課程的助教,負責上課與管理模型工廠。另外,由於參加了迎新的道具組,我還自學縫紉與簡單的打版技巧,讓我可以運用的材料與技術又多了一種。 大四的畢業製作的時候,我便運用我的專長去挑戰設計較複雜的可動機構,以及自己加工製作零件。並且與另一位擅長電子電路與程式控制的同學合作,做出一件能 自行展開收闔的機械裝置。
經過了四年,對了設計有了更多的了解之後,我覺得我當初的決定沒有錯。或許設計沒有跟我當初想的完全一樣,但卻多了更多驚喜與更多挑戰。我希望未來 可以找到一份能讓我發揮專業的工作,我希望繼續往工業設計這條路繼續走下去。

繁忙的生活中,人們已經習慣城市的快節奏。步調常常快到忽略周遭許 多美好的事物。我們希望藉由設計讓人們能慢下腳步,放大時間和空間,細 細體會身邊每個美麗的細節。 “械生”為一盞機械立燈,每個關節皆可收折展開,彷彿一株有生命的 植株。關節展開的動態取自鐘擺的運轉,象徵時間的流動。整盞燈盞開的動 帶猶如植物的生長,彷彿將其一生的光陰濃縮在這個瞬間。去告訴人們短暫 的時間內也可能發生許多改變,在我們不經意中流逝的時間內可能就錯過了 許多美好的事物。

當有人靠近時“械生”會收起枝葉,隱 藏自己。當人離開、不注意的時候才會悄 悄再度展開。就像人們無法察覺植物的生 長,只有當開花、落葉的時候才會突然驚 覺時間的流逝。只不過在械生身上那是一 瞬間的事情,可能一個轉頭,它的型態就 已經完全轉變,而過程中美麗的細節完全 被忽略了,就像我們在日常生活中常常忽 略的許多小事,在我們不經意中流逝的時 間內錯過的許多美好的事物 。

Mechanism “械生”械生的動態機構是用1mm的鋼索去拉動每個關節,當鋼索被拉 緊時關節就會旋轉展開。鋼索會沿著枝幹一路牽到底座,然後再由馬達轉 動絞盤來帶動。馬達為24V的直流馬達,用Arduino搭配繼電器來控制馬達 的轉速與扭力。

Cane Bag
Subject Design for elder Group
黃品軒 劉俊佑 This product is design for the elders who sometimes need the cane for support. But, when they don’t need to use it, they will want to carry it easily and and won’t be seen carry a cane. Cane Bag is a bag that contains a telescopic cane which can suppoort the elders when they need it. When they don’t need it the cane can be retracted and hide in the bag which makes it easy to carry. To use it, the user just needs to push the button on the top of the grip, then the cane will be released and extend to working length. When the user doesn’t need it, pull the ring at the side of the bag to retract the cane and it will become a useful bag without any extending parts.

Research Observation We started the project from observing the elders behavior including outdoors and indoors. We found out that most elders had some problems with their knees which made them difficult to sit down and stand up.

Then, we focused on the process of standing up and found out that some elders had to use hands to support they stand up until the leg totally stretched because their knees were not as strong as youths. When their knees were bended, they didn’t have enough strength to support the elders stand up.

Model First, we use pipes to make prototype and do some tset to design the shape of the cane. Also, we using clips and bicycle brakes to make the telescopic mechanism.

Then, we used the part of a suitcase to make the extensible cane and remade the handle to make it easily to grip and control. Last, I made a bag as the exterior of the cane with cloth and leather to let it have quality appearance and also useful event when the cane is retracted.

• When the cane is retracted, it looks just like a normal bag. • The button on the handle is used to extend the cane.

At Taiwan, “Parking” is a trouble thing for scooter riders because there are lots of people riding scooters and too few parking space. For example, parking space is usually narrow, barely contain one scooter. When you find one, usually, there are already scooters parked at the both sides. This time, it is hard to set your scooter in the right direction and put it into that parking spot. So, our design features “easy parking”.

Design Feature
There are wheels on the scooter’s stands. After standing the scooter, you can drag it easily. Then you just have to push it into the parking spot.

Simplify the process of standing scooters. Users just need to step on the pedal to stand scooters. The pedal is connected to the scooter’s stands with levers and hydraulic tubes which make it easy to press.
There is a safety button which will unlock the wheels on the stands only when the rear handle is grabbed. So, the scooter won’t slide away when no one grab it.

Lego House Subject Design for Lego
Lego are famous toys for kids. It is well known by its system bricks that can be connected to each other and create innumerable combinations. We can use lego to build cars, ships, castle and house. What if lego can really be used in our daily life? Lego House is a kind of systems furniture. It contains some simple elements that can be used to bulid many things at will, like partition walls, shelf, lgihts and anything you imaged. Lego House’s foundation is a section with lego tenons that installed on the wall or ground. Users can assemble their Lego House’s brick on it stably and don’t need to worry them collapsing.

Research I did the research with some of my classmates but we design the different products by each. First, we made a mood board of Lego and do mind map to write down our impression about Lego. Second, we researched about the current products and the main users of Lego and thought about the new products that Lego will possibly develop.

Then, we drew up the design standatd and the target user so we have a direction to develop our design. We want to extend Lego’s product market to adults so our new product will focus on the adults who had played lego in childhood and still have great interest in it. We want to make the lego not only a toy but also a useful product in our daily life.

I used real Lego bricks to make the model. I built some furniture to compare human body and Lego bricks. I also put some LED and electric parts in the Lego bricks to make lights and switches.

Take Out Dish Subject Design for Eat
Take out dish is re-designed and modified from the original take out box. It is able to open into a dish and let people eat in an easier way. Also, Take out dish has an handle so it can be carried without additional parts and it is all made up by a 40x40cm paper. In addition, Take out dish has another feature at the side of box. There are two pieces of paper can be taken apart and folded into a spoon and a fork. This also can be use on the usual launch box so disposable tableware are not nessary anymore.

Research As a student living alone, I often ate take out foods for meals. So, I did the research about eating take out foods for this project. First, I summed up the problems happened to me when I ate take out foods. • • • •
The take out box is unable to be sealed well. The box will leak if it leans. The box needs rubber band to seal it. Carrying the box needs a plastic bag. I have to take the tableware separately. If I forget, I am unable to eat the meal.

Model I did some prototype to test the process of folding and open the box. Also, I tried to use paper, the same material as take out box, to make useful tableware.

It is the final plan of the re-design take out box. It only needs a few glue to bind it. The rest parts use scarves to connect.

Installing 首先我們將長約2公尺的鋁條安裝在平台邊緣的欄 杆上作為鋼索的架子,然後將鋼索裝上迫緊器後水平掛 在鋁條的頂端。接著在鋼索上每隔一段距離就綁上一隻 音叉。

我們打算把整個平台變成水 池,所以訂了100多塊的水 泥磚來圍成擋水牆,並且先把 整個場地打掃了一遍。

最後的步驟是將晚上照明用的地燈先架設好;並且用一 段水管把排水口加高,這樣放水後水面就會上升並形成 水池。

我想做的是一本介紹國外改裝摩托車文化的書。 因為我自己對這方面也稍微有涉獵,所以選擇這個主題 來做。我將部分的封面用雷切簍空成摩托車鋼絲輪框的 形狀,與內容互相呼應同時讓人可以稍微一看見特殊的 裝訂方式。

書的內容主要分為四個章節,分別介紹四種不同的改裝 文化與其起源,並以一輛改裝車作為範本來解說改裝的 細部特色。每部車的零件都用雷切鏤空的方式處理,並 依其前後關係安排在不同的頁面上營造強烈的立體感。

這本書是描述未來世界的人類因為污染的關係而居住在 有保護的"城市"內。經過了數百年之後人類變得不敢 踏出"城市"走到外面的世界。我用胎兒代表受城市保 護且不敢走出外面的人類,外圍用模糊的方塊疊影象徵 城市密集且封閉的建築。
