After studying business, marketing, photography and graphic design, Sergio Pucci went on to become one of Costa Rica’s most acclaimed and well-respected photographers for over 25 years . His work has always been intrinsically linked with his love for Costa Rica and its unparalleled natural beauty, a fact apparent to anyone who sees his impressive resume .

As a nature photographer, Sergio is an ICT (Costa Rican Tourism Institute) country brand ambassador, being an active agent in shaping the country’s international image as an ecological paradise . It’s through his empathetic lens that some of Costa Rica’s most impressive natural wonders and exotic sights have been portrayed and reproduced all over the globe .

His accolades include being part of exhibitions in the World Museum San Francisco California, the Munich Theater, the Natural History Museum in London, having one of his pictures selected by the BBC & London Natural History Museum Wildlife Photographer of the Year award, known as the

Oscar for photography . Sergio has also worked with National Geographic and BBC to work in some of the most prestigious nature documentaries, like Blue Planet 2 . Additionally, he authors some of Costa Rica’s best-selling coffee table books, like Costa Rica from Above, and has also tried his hand at film direction, with the local box office hit Güilas .
