What is Ruta La Paz?

Ruta La Paz is a yearly race organized by the La Paz School with the objective of supporting the school’s scholarship program. To honor the school’s new Tempisque campus, this year’s 5 KM race will happen simultaneously at two beaches, Playa Potrero and Playa Hermosa, making it accessible to all. This year’s hosts, Bahia del Sol in Potrero and Aquasport Restaurant in Hermosa, have done a great job planning activities like live DJs, prizes, food, drinks, and other surprises to make this event a true party for the community.

Who can participate?

The race is open to anyone willing to participate and support La Paz. All community members, including those from around the world, are invited to register in either location or virtually.

Remember that all money raised will go towards La Paz Scholarship Program!

More about La Paz Scholarship Program

This program has benefitted over 88 children with access to a world-class program of bilingual education. Full scholarships include transportation, lunch, school supplies, and special services.

To be eligible, La Paz rigorous and selective scholarship program considers factors such as the family’s economic need, family support/involvement, and future family goals. The scholarships are renewed annually based on the student’s academic achievement, attendance, behavior, financial need, and fulfillment of family cooperative hours.
