Key Financial Results for 2008 In 2008, the first full year operating as an integrated business, CEVA grew at a faster rate than the market with average growth of 5.3%, compared to market growth of 2 – 3%. The Company recorded new business wins of €1.7 billion and believes it has performed well in difficult trading times and has the momentum and capability to drive the business forward. However it has not been immune to the economic slow down. In Q4 2008, the Company saw a reversal in recent revenue and profit growth trends. Regional Leadership Approach The business is structured in four distinct geographical regions, with one leadership team managing all integrated operations in each area.
John Pattullo, Chief Executive Officer John spent most of his early career working in supply chain management with Procter & Gamble. In 2005, John joined Exel, where he was CEO of the EMEA division (freight forwarding and contract logistics). When Exel was acquired by Deutsche Post / DHL, he then ran the combined Exel and DHL contract logistics business in EMEA. He became CEO in August 2007.

Gianfranco Sgro, President ‐ Southern Europe, Middle East and Africa Gianfranco started his career in 1992 with TNT’s Express and Mail divisions. In 1994 he helped to establish the Fiat spare parts unit in Italy and Europe and later set up the TNT Automotive Logistics in Italy, France, Spain and the UK. Appointed President and Managing Director of TNT Logistics South America in 1999, in 2003 he was appointed Managing Director of TNT Logistics Italy and South America. He assumed his current role in August 2007.
Bruno Sidler, President ‐ Northern Europe Bruno joined EGL as President of Europe, Middle East and Africa in 2007. Prior to this, he had spent the majority of his 30 year career in the transportation industry with Panalpina World Transport in various management functions and countries. In 1998 he was appointed CEO for the entire Panalpina Group, a global freight forwarding business. Vittorio Favati, President ‐ Asia Pacific With over 24 years of industry experience and 16 years with EGL and now CEVA, Vittorio has held various executive positions across the business. Upon the completion of CEVA’s acquisition of EGL, in 2007 he was tasked to lead the combined organization in Asia Pacific and became the first region to fully integrate both businesses.

Joe Bento, President ‐ Americas and Global Freight Management
Joe joined EGL in 1992 where he played a key role in the company’s record growth. As the company’s top sales executive, he quickly graduated to station, region and then corporate management positions, including President and Chief Marketing Officer. He was appointed to his current role in August 2007.

Solutions and Services CEVA’s services can be broadly categorized in two main areas:
Contract Logistics includes warehousing and ground based distribution, offered separately or in combination. Customers also benefit from CEVA’s SMART methodology which transfers best practices and standardized solutions for key products. Operations Excellence CEVA’s Smart Solutions are a set of modules developed on the basis of the Company’s wealth of experience and the understanding of specific industries. The Company’s teams have identified common areas where customers need to standardize their core processes of supply chain solutions. ` The Zero Defect Start Ups project management process aims to deliver complete compliance at the start of a new project. It is designed to meet customer‐defined quality and service expectations and has proven to deliver to that standard. The LEAN program was designed to realize efficiency and quality through waste reduction based on the sustainable, continuous improvement of operations. The program was adapted from Toyota’s Production System and focuses on eliminating waste at all levels from redundant motion in warehouses and waiting times of vehicles from redundant motion to the under‐ utilized potential of employees. Global Standard Metrics measure the performance of all operations around the world objectively and consistently, and provide concise and comprehensive reports to customers.

Century Program The CEVA Century Program is a key account program for approximately 100 CEVA Accounts. The accounts are global in scope and represent more than half of the Company’s total business. The Century Program unifies teams and empowers leading companies to meet their supply chain ambitions through strategic solution designs, dedicated account teams and executive sponsorship.
