The Military Personnel Flight (MPF) has serviced Wyvern Nation in many areas this month. They supported the deployment of 470 members across seven units, readied the Wing for the NSSAV inspection and was recognized by USAFE as the Outstanding Team. Additionally, the MPF was able overcome challenges with multiple DEERS outages by producing 174 CACs and renewing 40 dependent and retiree ID cards virtually. Lastly, the Flight steered an update to an Office of Secretary of Defense (OSD) policy by alleviating family hardship and separation due to passport and Visa delays for Airmen inbound to Italy.

STAND-UP OF AIRMEN CLINIC ON AREA F

On 2 Nov 20, all Active Duty members seeking primary medical care will be seen on Area F at the Airmen Clinic, building 10271 (formerly known as the Flight Med Clinic). Dependents will continue to be seen on Area 1.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR YOU? Aviano beneficiaries will be notified if they have a new provider via mail and through Secure Messaging. Sign up for Secure messaging at https://www.tricareonline.com. If you are a dependent you will be seen on Area 1. If you are Active Duty member you will be seen on Area F starting on 2 Nov 20.

Squadrons and dependents empaneled to the Flight Medicine Clinic will not be affected by this change. They will continue recieve care on Area F.

Pharmacy and Lab satellite clinics will be available to Actice Duty members on Area F.

WHY IS THE 31 MDG MOVING TO AD/DEPENDENT CLINICS?

To actively improve the medical readiness of active duty members while providing the highest quality care to our dependent/retiree population, The Airmen Medical Readiness Optimization (AMRO) initiative reorganizes primary care into medical teams that treat active duty-only or dependents-only. Each 31 FW unit will be empaneled to a single primary care team. This model allows active duty provider teams to build relationships with squadron leaders and focus on unit-specific needs 9 to return Airmen to duty.

Airman Morillo has been a vital member of the Postal Operations Flight, especially during the Online Customs Form transition! As the finance section subject matter expert, he trained two members and has selflessly volunteered to work Saturday shifts to ensure his teammates were completely comfortable with their job. During the month of September alone, the finance team earned $49,851.74 in sales and processed 1,312 parcels of outbound mail in which SrA Morillo’s knowledge and job performance played a vital role. Always looking out for the safety of others, SrA Morillo strictly adheres to the COVID regulations and enforces them within the section, letting his wingmen know to wear their masks and ensure customers keep their social distancing and max capacity limit in the lobby. He has received four glowing ICE comments stating how professional, patient, and positive he is with all customers that interact with him. He is also involved outside of his day to day mission, where he is an active Honor Guard member who participated in three details for the month of September. SrA Morillo always goes above and beyond to assist the members of the Aviano Community with his great customer service skills and ensures his fellow wingman also the help they need. He is a true asset to the Aviano Post Office. PAIDreceive ADVERTISEMENT.
