Our four member IT Support team works quietly behind the scenes to keep the 31st Force Squadron plugged in and technologically equipped to meet the diverse requirements of Airmen throughout the Aviano community. On top of the routine servicing of hundreds of network, desktop, mobile, and point-of-sale assets, this innovative squad is managing several impactful, wide-reaching projects. Armed with Wing Innovation Funds, the team is implementing enhanced security measures, centralized management capabilities, and fiber-based expansion to the 31 FSS commercial network, all aimed at yielding significant performance improvements for staff members and customers alike. Stayed in Lodging recently? This team planned and executed the extensive WiFi and AFN equipment upgrades behind these state-of-the art services. Additionally, they provided credit card capabilities for the bazaar, tackled a squadron-wide mobile phone upgrade, drove MoraleNet infrastructure improvements, and established automated point-of-sale integration at the fitness centers. The entire team is committed to professional development; not only earning educational milestones and certifications themselves, but helping spark the innovative spirit for two 23 high school volunteers and a college work study student.
