Taylor Brooks

Taylor Brooks is a Recreation Assistant specializing in automotive parts for Auto Hobby. She started with Auto Hobby 18 months ago and in that time she has built up the Auto Hobby parts program, exceeding all expectations. Taylor manages parts for European and American spec vehicles. She receives the part requirement from the mechanic, researches the part to verify correctness, and ensures the part is available. She then articulates parts needs, costs, and shipping time to our customers. On a weekly basis, Taylor is tracking hundreds of parts from the States and Europe for our customers and NAF vehicles. Taylor is an awesome addition to the Auto Hobby Center, and she accomplishes her work flawlessly. She is often noticed for her outstanding customer service — always delivered with a big smile and a winning positive attitude. Congrats, Taylor! 10

FSS Single Pallet Expeditionary Kitchen Team In May 2019, the 31st Force Support Squadron responded to a unique opportunity by partnering with the 606th Air Control Squadron (ACS) when they convoyed out of Aviano to Pula, Croatia, taking with them everything required to operate their radar systems in order to support Astral Knight 2019. Astral Knight is a joint, multinational exercise designed to test integrated air and missile defense capabilities in Europe. This exercise is unique in that FSS deployed their field kitchen to provide food service support as a joint training effort. The Single Pallet Expeditionary Kitchen (SPEK) is designed to feed 500 personnel with Unitized Group Rations and can be rapidly deployed for operation in austere locations. The team prepared for this operation for over a year, working through numerous challenges and receiving countless hours of training. Despite the challenges, the team loaded up all of the equipment and food into the back of the 606th vehicles, convoyed to Croatia, set up the SPEK, and was prepared to serve meals by lunchtime the following day. FSS was excited to be a part of this 26 exercise, and we look forward to future operations in employing our readiness capabilities.
