Megan is a tremendous asset to the overall golf operation and a certifiable leader! She took the lead on coordinating and organizing a very successful Super Bowl Golf tournament, while the golf manager was TDY. Megan organized the staff and coordinated with a local golf course to ensure maximum participation. She led the effort to decorate the facility, set-up food, secure prizes and all the minute but essential details to execute a successful tournament. Megan leads from the front; learning the EAL process, revamping computer programs to better track the local customers security eligibility, saving valuable time and money for the golf course operation. She was instrumental in executing 3 golf tournaments in February, making all the tournaments fun and enjoyable for over 150 golf customers. Megan mentors up to 10 staff members to continually improving processes for Airmen and their families. Megan comes to work every day with a smile on her face and adapts to whatever task is at hand. She is a true professional.

AVIANO YOUTH PROGRAMS 632-7575 / 0434-30-7575

WHAT IS IT?

Young players sampling or trying a variety of different sports. Its most often looked at as an adversary to early specialization, the focus of only 1 sport early in a child’s development.

WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?

It helps to develop different motor, cognitive, and social skills, reduce injury risk (overuse) and it’s associated with lower rates of burnout.

FAVORITE SPORT VS SPECIALIZATION

It is absolutely okay for your child to have a favorite sport. This may even change as their skills change. We should, however, also encourage them to try other sports in addition to their favorite sport.

WHY KIDS QUIT SPORTS?

Studies have shown that 70% of kids quit playing sports by age 14. They quit because it isn’t fun anymore, its exclusive and/or its hyper-competitive. Sampling can help young athletes to find a sport their good at, experience different roles on a team, learn from different coaches and teammates.

WHAT IS AYP’S ROLE?

We are here to offer a variety of sports in a positive environment where players can develop appropriately for their age group. If you breakdown athletic competition into stages and ages you’ll see our program ends at middle school, the train to train stage. Our goal is to give each player a solid foundation of physical movements, cognitive development, and ample playing experience of different sports so they can determine which sports (more than 1) they would like to compete in high school. DIFFERENCES BETWEEN

QUARANTINE VS ISOLATION

Quarantine and Isolation help protect the public by preventing exposure to people who have or may have a contagious disease.

QUARANTINE Separates and restricts the movement of people who were exposed to a contagious disease to see if they become sick.

ISOLATION Separates sick people with a contagious disease from people who are not sick. In this case, when we know someone has COVID-19 they will be placed in Isolation as compared to When a person meets certain parameters, such as travel, symptoms and/or contact with a person with contagious disease it is in best interest of public to either quarantine or place in isolation even when no COVID-19 cases are known at Aviano, AB.
