NWA Architectural 015395 66222 With re-stocking and selling beginning to slow down a little and the winter weather on its way. The last thing on your minds is Spring and even further from your thoughts is planning and buildings. The reason for mentioning Spring is that planning applications can now take many weeks over the prescribed 8 weeks for minor projects. If you are therefore considering a new cattle housing or other building that requires planning consent for a Spring build it may be best to start sooner than you might think. As some of you are aware NWA now have a building design and planning service for any building project you may have on your minds. This is run by Greg Gilding, a Chartered Building Surveyor, who has worked with us before and come back again. Greg has worked in architecture for many years throughout North Lancs, Cumbria, and North Yorkshire. In the past Greg has undertaken schemes as wide ranging as barn group conversions to residential, new build housing, industrial and agricultural buildings, works and extensions to listed buildings, an irrigation reservoir, and even a crazy golf course among many building projects. The service we offer ranges from notifications for new agricultural buildings, through to notifications for barn conversions to residential, new build houses, farm diversification projects, to site development, infill plots on small land parcels, and a variety of other build or conversions schemes. We can offer a free consultation, or site visit, fixed fee quotes and a full design service for notifications, planning applications, and building regulation applications. Please call for an informal discussion or site visit on your building requirements. As part of our service to NWA clients we are also going to provide planning and building related bulletins and updates on various matters as they affect your businesses and buildings.
