The X-factor “white noise” in sound is the starting point of this case, using venetian blinds as a medium to connect the X-elements in various environments, trying to reverse these X-factors that are often ignored and unknown in life. Creating a sound Experiential space intertwined with vision.

The plane is constructed by a matrix of 1.4 M * 1.4 M * 9, and the façade is composed of vertically hanging louvers, forming a penetrating bounda ry, distinguishing the interior space from the ex terior space. A high chair made of curtains at the center forms the visual center.

The vertical venetian blinds form the façades, defining the boundary between the inner and outer space and maintaining the ambiguity of the space at the same time.

The inner ceiling is made of staggered U-shaped venetian blinds, which are di vided into several layers from the inside to the outside. The U-shaped louvers on the same layer will hang at the same length, and the hanging length will increase ac cordingly as it progresses toward the center.

I have been beginning to worry that I couldn’t concentrate on the same thing for more than one or two minutes.

At the beginning, I was naive to think that the symptom I have been undergoing was just the so-called middle-aged brain degeneration. However, I found that my mind seemed to be hungry and slowly drifting away. Ironically, it asked too much of me to feed it in the way of the Internet. The more it was fed, the hungrier it becomes. I was eager to receive, link, by means of Google, even when I am not in front of the computer. Do what ever it takes to “Connected” is my brain’s desire. I have been turned into a human flesh machine, which is being processed by Microsoft’s Word. By means of the Internet, I have almost gone deep into some kind of human flesh machine like HAL. I really miss my old brain.
