Have you ever been lost in a painting? Just staring at the colors and brush strokes? Now imagine if that painting was larger than life. The Dali Museum’s Van Gogh Alive exhibit allows you to experience Van Gogh’s famous paintings like never before.

The Dali Museum is the rst North American venue to host Van Gogh Alive, a unique exhibit of thousands of Van Gogh’s most famous works of art.
“Just as Salvador Dalí expressed boundless creativity and was open to new techniques, technologies and media, we at The Dalí are excited to showcase another unique experience that blends art and technology,” says Beth Bell, marketing director for The Dali. “We’re thrilled to be the rst art museum in North America to showcase Van Gogh Alive.”
The exhibit features more than 3,000 enormous Van Gogh images. Participants will view the images through high-de nition projectors, and the immersive experience includes a cinema-quality surround sound classical score. ”Van Gogh Alive provides an entirely new way to experience art,” says Bell. “From his famous Starry Night to his radiant Sun owers, Dutch post-impressionist Vincent van Gogh’s vibrant work will invite visitors to revel in color, light and sound. They’ll feel the sensation of walking right into Van Gogh’s works—an experience that is educational, inspirational and will not soon be forgotten.”
Dr. Hank Hine, executive director of The Dalí Museum, agrees.
Van Gogh and Dalí shared a passion for landscape, and the portal it provides to a hidden world,” he says. “A glimpse of Van Gogh’s world will be transformed onto the walls and oors of our gallery, providing a dramatic and aweinspired experience for our audience.”
In addition to Van Gogh’s iconic works, visitors will also be able to learn about his inspiration through videos and photos displayed alongside them. The exhibit it powered by SENSORY4 out of Melbourne, Australia.
