Mc2 designs Marlene Card has had great success over the past 20 years designing for award winning builders / developers and private homeowners in the Toronto and surrounding areas. Creative focus on sales and decor centres, condominium developments, residential projects and hospitality interiors. A zestful, stylish approach Marlene gives you that “WoW” factor. A wide variety of design experience servicing residential, hospitality and institutional clientele. Working for Today’s Business Interiors was focus on contract design. Studying hospitality design under Robert J. Chaban, working on several hotel renovation projects in British Columbia, and Toronto’’s Royal York Hotel. At Equipment Planning Associates design emphasis was on Canadian hospital interiors, including Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto. Prominent Landmark Developer Davies Smith Development gained recognition for thier décor centers as they rose high above the average ratings according to J.D. Powers and Associates Statistics in 2006 and 2007. In 2008 the company received unofficial statistics from J.D. Powers, the décor centres and the interior selections experience were rated better than ‘Best in Class’ from the responses from homeowners All under the direction of Marlene Card. Model suites have been printed in home magazines, home sections in newspapers and quoted in many articles.


ICON Architects Inc. ICON Architects Inc. is an award winning architectural consulting firm located in Toronto, Ontario. The firm is well known for a wide range of designs in multi-family residential and mixed-use projects, ranging from high rise to mid-rise and townhouse complexes, along with commercial and office buildings (www.iconarchitects.ca). The principal founders, Hoordad Ghandehari and Reza Eslami have over 35 years of experience between them. ICON Architects Inc. is considered one of the most avant-garde design studios in Canada, with radical contemporary design ideas that tend to explore unchallenged territories in architectural design and construction. ICON’s services normally start even before a site is selected, as they usually assist their clients in the site selection process and feasibility studies. They see the project through city approvals, design development drawings, marketing, and construction and permit drawings. Of the current 40 or so ongoing projects, one can find a few high rise towers from 24-36 storeys, many mid-rise mixed-use buildings on infill sites within the city centre, and many townhouse and stacked townhouse developments.
