關於潮穀互動藝術展 About Super Good Interactive Art Exhibition
潮流藝術與穀類專家的跨界合作 再創時代經典 Crossover of trend-leading artist and grain expert to m 「潮」代表一股時勢所趨的巨大能量，蘊含著豐富的時事話題、流行趨勢、 創意養分，成為眾人爭相追隨的典範；「穀」則象徵自然的原貌，以種子喻 為生命的起點，歷經生根、發芽、茁壯的成長階段，吸收陽光、空氣、水等 生長必需的養分，展開一段與土地共生共榮的旅程。 我們邀請國內外12位具潮流指標性的藝術家、設計師，在四大主題展區 ―― 「啟程」、「成長」、「豐收」、「分享」中，表達出對不同生命階段的感 動，作品內容皆師法自然，取材於稻穀麥穗，並透過圖像視覺、互動裝置、 動態影像等創作方式，匯聚心中對大自然的深刻體悟。 在這裡，每一件作品都是潮流與穀物交互生成的藝術有機體，當觀眾欣賞作 品時，便會在心中激盪出新的想法，種下創意的種子，並吸收潮流能量發芽 茁壯，形成自然的正循環，生生不息。 「潮穀互動藝術展」是一畝由藝術、思潮、自然、人文所滋養的沃土，我們 期待藉由作品與觀眾對話，喚醒每個人心中那顆沉睡的種子，創造零距離的 觀展體驗，釋放潮流藝術與自然穀物碰撞出的無限可能！

展覽介紹 Introduction
ake contemporary classic. “Trend” represents a powerful energy of current stream, which is rich in issues of current affairs, epidemic tendency and creative imagination, and also a pattern being followed and imitated eagerly. However, “grain” symbolizes the nature. Seed is compared to the beginning of life which experiences stages of growth, root, sprout and robustness so as to absorb the essential nutrients, sunshine, air and water for development. The reciprocal development journey then starts from here. There are 12 domestic and foreign top artists and designers invited to the art exhibition to display their wonderful artworks in four main theme areas of Super Good: Sprout, Growth, Harvest, and Share. All of these artworks, graffito, illustration, graphic design, figure toy, interactive projection, animated film and 3D art installation, are inspirited by nature, and obtain materials from rice, grain and wheat, to present affective expressions of each life stage and collect striking experiences of nature. Each work is an art organism which mixed the trend with grain here in this exhibition. At the moment the visitors see these artworks; the new ideas will be generated. Seed of imagination will be sown, and the energy of the trend will be absorbed and grow. Finally, it will form a natural positive cycle, and continue to multiply endlessly. Super Good Interactive Art Exhibition is a fertile ground nourished by art, spirit, nature and culture. We expect these wonderful artworks can make an intercourse with visitor and remind them of their imagination in mind. We further hope to create a face-to-face experience for visitors so as to stir and release the unlimited possibility of trend art and nature grain.

作品介紹 Introduction about Artwork 透過繪本故事逐步引導觀者鼓起勇氣，面對未 來。輔以木作玩具給予人踏實安定的感受，其 中寶寶學步車、木馬椅、手拉玩具車的童趣造 型，巧妙的設計更喚起每個大人心中的小孩。

玩賞學步車使人聯想起兒時踏出第一步的無畏 之心；木馬椅則隱喻大人步入社會後常坐辦公 椅，待在舒適圈中久了便難以再次提起勇氣；
小時候的我們是怎麼跨出第一步的呢？躍躍欲試？充
手拉車玩具拖著三樣造型木作，分別代表：家
滿期待？還是不考慮後果莽莽撞撞？長大後，我們開

The picture books lead visitors step by step to be brave and face their futures. And wooden toys are warm and make us feel relieved and secured. The toys are designed into the shape of baby walker, rocking horse and toy wagon. Those ingenious designs awake visitors’ childlikeness.
When we are little, how did we take our first baby steps? To itch for a try, to look forward to it, or act rashly without considering the consequences? As adults, we fear for failure and think too much to set out determinedly.
Baby walker reminds the fearlessness of stepping our first steps; rocking horse implies that adults always sit on comfortable office chairs and are not brave anymore; and three wooden toys, which be dragged by toy wagon, represent

透過投影創作農田生活一日的景致，藉由天氣與早

Through observer’s view, we realize the very grace of nature. Thanks to the farmlands, we have plentiful food to keep us alive. However, since cities have expanded, it has become difficult for us to appreciate the country setting. Lead by this animated film and its incidental music

In this animated film, the scene of daily farm life is creative and simple. The pure pastoral is set with the change of weather throughout day-and-night. This film depicts crops growth in time-lapse

industrious oxen pulling the plough and white egrets passing through occasionally. This small farm village works actively and which frames a beautiful picture of farm life. How bustling it is!

脫胎換穀 釋放自我潛力 Remold yourself thoroughly and release your potential 無論是颱風掀起的強風暴雨或是夏季連日的炎熱高溫，穀物面對不可抵抗的自然 力量，正如同人生命中面臨的種種考驗。不論何時何地都必須勇敢挑戰逆境，蛻 變自我，展現堅韌的生命力，過程中的汗水、淚水最終都將幻化為一抹發自內心 的微笑，這即是成長的真諦。
That grain must face forces of nature such as violent storms and scorching heat, which is just like that men have to encounter every kind of trial of life. You must be brave to confront the adversity, and grow up to show your toughness, whenever, wherever. Tears and sweat will become a smile from the heart, that is, the true meaning of growth.

The moon and the sun alternate as the sea sparkles individually in the sunlight and moonlight. The warm energy is being fermented for greeting another brand new moment.
Today is the day that between yesterday and tomorrow. When time freezes over, all things in space are paused as which in vacuum. But they still keep shiny and make themselves to be cherished at every moment. The child in the picture, which becomes a part of the colors, holds up snow ice that can’t be recognized as crushed ice of summer or snow of winter. The concentration at that moment is just to enjoy and cherish it at the moment.

Living in a country with four seasons in the past, has inspired us with phenomenon in the sky in which clouds reside, snow falls, and the rain pour. We are now living in a tropical country of Indonesia, where we can no longer experience the feeling of white winter, though we can still appreciate the beauty of rainfall. We would like to create a moment of that experience with Constellation Neverland. The longing of rain and snow inspired the creation of an artificial environment. This fully mounted audio-visual installation is a simulation on how rain and snow can be sensibly inspiring.
與生命情感，帶給人們無限啟發。 The audio and visuals are set to build the mood; exploring how intangible aspects (e.g. weather, feelings towards the rain, etc.) can affect human’s emotion and thoughts. Faux cloud, rain, and snow – the things that can be touched by viewers—are displayed to exaggerate the mood. This whole installation humbly delivers the time, space, and the mood for us to be more inspired, even by the simplest things that scatter in our life.

Stand in the stream of time and appreciate the changes in seconds, to explore and memories piled by the traces and imprints of time flowing.
便產生出體驗者自身獨有的時光軌跡，空間彷彿一 處偌大的掃描器，將記憶以「逐格掃描」的形式側 錄下來，讓觀者體驗到記憶的厚度與豐饒。 Through interactive recording, the abstract memories are presented concretely with the tractility of time. When the visitors pass by the front of the projector, a series of their image fragments are produced. Layers of image fragments are piled with time passing by, which form the unique time traces of visitors themselves. The space is just like a huge scanner, which uses single-frame scan to record these abundant and rich memories.

作品介紹 Introduction about Artwork 展覽理念 Conception 豐收代表著辛苦的耕耘後的完美結果。以 怪獸為主題，顛覆對豐收的想像，希望能 激發觀眾，想像自己就像是一隻怪獸，在 這個屬於自己的世界有另外一片天，勇敢 去追夢，believe in your ideas！ Harvest is the wonderful outcome of hard cultivation. This artwork features monster which overturns your imaginations on harvesting, which inspires visitors to imagine them to be the monsters who have another lives and futures in their own worlds. Boldly chase after your dreams, believe in your ideas!
以豐衣足食四個字為主視覺發想，怪獸右手拿著穀物，象徵持 續的健康，左手抱著一籃蔬果，象徵辛苦耕耘豐收的結果。旁 邊圍繞著住在自然界的怪獸精靈象徵著夢想與希望，守護著你 的夢想，給予你勇氣和能量。希望觀者看展的當下，可以告訴 自己：不管夢想有多困難，有多遙不可及，仍然要抱持著希望 與正面的想法，並要相信自己，期望著豐衣足食，期望著變成 自己最想成為的那個人。 Inspired by“To live in affluence”, the monster in this work is holding grain on its right hand, which symbolizes continuous health; holding a basket of vegetables and fruits on its left hand, which symbolizes the harvest of cultivation. There are little monster elves who are living in the nature surrounded by, which represents the dreams and hopes. They defend your dreams and give you the courage and energy. Hope the visitors could be reminded, no matter how difficult and unreachable the dreams are, you should still be positive and hopeful as seeing the work. Believe in yourselves and hoping to live in affluence and wishing to become the ones who you desire to be.

展覽理念 Conception 外星生物穿梭在浩瀚銀河間，即使面臨惡劣的氣候 環境與兇惡的生物襲擊，仍不放棄追尋適合自己居 住的星球，持續冒險奮戰，最終找到樂土，從此過 著豐饒的生活，繁衍下一代。 生命的難題小至穀物嫩芽，遠至天外宇宙生物，道 理其實是相同的。面對逆境，勇於探尋夢想，終能 獲得屬於自己的豐收成果！ Outer-space creatures rang in the vast galaxy, even if they are facing severe climates and attacks by fierce creatures, but they are still chasing for a planet that is suitable for them, and continuously exploring and fighting. Eventually, they will find the wonderful land, live the life of abundance, and make their generations. The difficult problems of life are widely ranging from a shoot to outer-space creature, and the principle would be the same. While confronting adversity, just dare to take the risks, and eventually you will gain the abundant achievements of your own.
作品介紹 Introduction about Artwork 以立體公仔雕塑和畫作，表現外星生物勇於追求美 好樂土的冒險故事，並展示外星生物的飛航載具、 面對逆境的實況模擬畫作與旅行冒險的場景畫作， 帶領觀者一同翱翔宇宙，追尋富饒的樂土。 The artworks are expressed by the form of figures and paintings, which demonstrate the adventures of outer-space creatures that are boldly chasing for wonderful land. The simulated flight vehicles of outer-space creatures are demonstrated, which are facing adversity and scenes of travel adventures, are presented. The visitors will be led to fly in the universe and pursue fertile lands of happiness.

如果把穀類擬人化，它會是什麼個性呢？ 如果穀物可以發出聲音，它會是怎樣的旋律呢？ 將日常吃的穀物類綠豆、小麥、薏仁、芝麻、杏仁 來做成角色設計，並加入實驗電子音樂，把每一種 穀物帶給人的感覺轉換成一段電子音樂創作，並且
透過觀看和聆聽穀物的電子音樂，並藉由 QR CODE下載或上網取得該首電子音樂， 達到分享的概念，希望藉由這個動作來傳 遞一個早晨運動的時間感，起床→跑步→ 盥洗→來杯穀飲，開始美好的一天。
結合角色的跑步動畫，利用這段電子音樂分享給人 作為跑步聽的音樂，時刻陪伴在跑者的身邊。 If grain is personified, what kind of personality will it have? If grain gives off sounds, what kind of melody will it make? In this artwork, daily grains like mung bean, wheat, myotonin, sesame and almond are designed as characters, and the experimental electronic music is added on them, which then turn the feeling brought by each grain into a composition of electronic music. Afterwards, mix it with the animated films of running characters. Make the music being shared to runners so that which can be listened to when running.
Through watching grains, listening to electronic music, and by downloading the music through QR CODE or via Internet to achieve the concept of sharing. We hope this act will deliver a sense of time by morning routine, getting up, running, washing up, and finally drinking a glass of grain beverage, and then get the wonderful day started.

紀錄米粒製成新丁粄、懷孕到育兒的過程，傳達新丁 粄對新生兒的祝福，並分享給更多人這份喜悅。
The Hakka creator Flyflyfly makes Ban, a kind of plat noodles from his hometown Dongshi Dist., Taichung, as a main core of this creation. By merging into the series of Shiny Kids with childlike and funny styles, he explains the meaning of festivals on season times, and the respect for Gods and ancestors, and the meaning of traditional culture in simple paintings which are enjoyable for adults and kids. He hopes to share and spread the stories of grain and Hakka culture.
The origination of Sin Din Ban Festival is a tradition that Dongshi Hakka people distribute Sin Din Ban, a kind of plat noodles, to everyone after they have new born babies in their families. The processes of making from grain of rice to Sin Din Ban, and from pregnancy to giving birth, are all recorded by childlike-style illustration, so that the blessing that expressed by sharing Sin Din Ban will be sent to more and more families.

The core concept of this artwork is to discuss the relations between virtual and real in visual sense, and to probe into the fact of how nature influences us. Visitors can experience the mutual influence through interactions, sounds, visions and image by mixing the concrete things and digital projection, so that to think about the relationship among selves, the real world and nature.
的樂趣，空間中所陳設的植栽另外建構出了一個非 自然的自然世界。 In this artwork, the goddess of land is the main vision expression of this work, and the whole creations grow and live in the form of painting. Visitors can interact and play at ease with the artwork through projection then experience the growth of creations on earth and enjoy the fun of the course. The planting in the room create the “Nature”with artificial things.

The aim of international forum is to encourage crossover integrations of new media art, and to generate sparks and ideas via the collaboration between the industry and academia. “Master Forum” is categorized into three themes, “World”, “Culture” and “Life”. Famous designers and speakers would share their creative viewpoints on the relating forums; moreover, the exhibition artists will guide the tours of exhibition to make visitors get closer to art. “Super Hand Made-creative artisan workshop” contains three thematic courses, “Good Print”, “Cool Craft” and “Fun Accessory”. From their pluralistic perspectives and creative thinking, they will share their practical experiences on integrations of technology, art, and their breakthrough.

大師講堂 Master Forum 「潮‧文化」、「潮‧生活」、「潮‧國際」 “Culture”, “Life”, “World” 講座活動匯集12位參展藝術家及知名主講者 分享設計觀點，講座前將有參展藝術家親自 導覽介紹，邀請民眾現場近距離互動學習。 12 artists and famous speakers are assembled for sharing their viewpoints on designing. Moreover, there are guided-tours of exhibition by these artists. Visitor can get close to, interact with, and gain knowledge from them.
時間 Time 展覽期間(02/04~04/26)，每周六下午 15:00~16:30 ， 計11場導覽講座 。 At 15:00 to 16:30 on Every Saturday during exhibition (4th Feb to 26th Apr.), 11 sessions in total.

At the intersection of Dajhong Rd. and Minzu Rd. , turn left. Continue driving on Minzu Rd.( No. 1 Provincial Road) straightly for about 1 kilometer, and you will reach Red Barn.
