Peace Poster winners announced
Classrooms across the Laveen Elementary School District participated in Digital Learning Day on March 13. We asked teachers to tell us how they were integrating technology into their lessons and received over 200 responses! Did you know that all Laveen schools have a 2:1 student to device ratio?

They are: Eric Chagolla, Rogers Ranch; Damien Contreras, Cheatham; Faith Hernandez, Desert Meadows; Keisha Johnson, Trailside Point; and Angelyk Wilkinson, Vista del Sur. The winning posters were then sent on to compete at the multi-district level. Angelyk’s artwork took 1st Place at multi-district and was selected to move on to regionals.
