COVER LETTER
ในโลกยุคปัจจุบัน เป็นโลกไร้พรมแดนทุกอย่างเชื่อมต่อกันหมด กอปรกับการที่ผมได้ออกเดินทางไปยังหลายประเทศในโลก การไปเป็นนักศึกษา แลกเปลี่ยนที่มหาวิทยาลัยเยินเชอปิงประเทศสวีเดน เป็นมหาวิทยาลัยที่มีนักศึกษาจากหลายที่ทั่วโลก ที่นั่นผมได้พบปะผู้คนจากหลายประเทศทั้ง คนสวีเดน แคนาดา เยอรมัน อเมริกา ฯลฯ และได้ทำ�งานกลุ่มร่วมกัน จากประสบการณ์ของผมทำ�ให้ได้พบว่า เราไม่ใช่นักศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยรังสิต เราไม่ใช่คนจากประเทศไทย แต่เราคือ พลเมืองโลก เราคือมนุษย์เหมือนๆกัน ถึงแม้จะมีลักษณะ รูปร่าง หรือความคิดที่แตกต่าง แต่เราสามารถเรียน รู้ซึ่งกันและกันได้ การยอมรับในความแตกต่าง ความเข้าใจ และการให้เกียร์ติ ทำ�ให้เราสามารถทำ�งานร่วมกับผู้อื่นที่แตกต่างกับเราได้ และสิ่งเหล่านี้ ทำ�ให้ลดอคติของการเป็นตัวเรา หากลดการยึดมั่นในความคิดของเราลง เราจะมองเห็นปัญหาชัดเจนขึ้น ผมคิดว่าในสังคมไทยเราควรลดความคิด ยึดติดนี้ลงบ้าง แล้วเราจะสามารถแก้ปัญหาต่างๆในสังคมได้ดีขึ้นจากการยอมรับความแตกต่าง
ความคาดหวังในการฝึกงาน
ผมคาดหวังในสิ่งต่างๆที่ที่มหาลัยไม่ได้สอน ในมหาลัยผมเรียนรู้งานผ่านการจำ�ลอง โจทย์ต่างๆ แต่การฝึกงานคือการออกไปพบกับโลก จริงๆ ซึ่งผมก็ไม่รู้ว่ามีอะไรรออยู่ข้างหน้า ทั้งโลกของต้นทุนที่จำ�กัด โลกของรายละเอียดในแง่ของการก่อสร้างที่ผมไม่รู้ โลกของลูกค้าที่เอาแต่ใจ ไม่ ฟังเหตุผล สิ่งที่ผมหวังว่าจะได้เรียนรู้จากการฝึกงาน คือ 1.การออกแบบที่เหมาะสมในโลกความเป็นจริง 2.รายละเอียดของการออกแบบโครงสร้าง ต่างๆ จากงานออกแบบ 3.ทักษะการนำ�เสนองานกับลูกค้า 4. การทำ�งานเป็นทีมที่ดี แต่ระยะเวลาของผมนั้นมีจำ�กัดเพียง 4 เดือน แน่นอนว่าผม อาจไม่มีทางได้เรียนรู้ทุกสิ่งที่ต้องการ แต่ผมจะตั้งใจเต็มที่ในเวลาที่จำ�กัดนั้น
ทัศนคติต่อวิชาชีพ
ชีวิตที่แสนสั้นของผม มีเวลาที่จำ�กัด ตลอดชีวิตการเรียนของผม ผมมีความเป้าหมายที่จะเป็นนักออกแบบ ผมชอบการคิด ในหัวผมมีงาน ออกแบบอยู่แทบจะตลอดเวลา เวลาที่ผมเครียดผมก็จะนั่งสเก็ตอะไรของผมไปเรื่อยๆ ผมชอบการที่สมองและมือของผมมันทำ�งานประสานกัน ได้คิด และสื่อสารออกมาพร้อมๆกัน ผมมีความสุขมาก ผมรักในวิชาชีพนี้ และบังเอิญว่ามันสามารถสร้างประโยชน์ให้กับผู้อื่นได้มากมายอีกด้วย เช่น งาน โรงงานเฟอร์นิเจอร์ไม้ของชาวบ้านที่โดนไฟไหม้ไปที่บ้านขวาง จ.สุโขทัย ที่ผมได้ไปช่วยเหลือชาวบ้านผ่านกิจกรรมของมหาลัย มันมีความสุขมากนะที่ อย่างน้อยวิชาชีพเราก็มีส่วนร่วมในการช่วยเหลือสังคม
ทัศนคติต่อบริษัท
ผมไม่เคยได้เข้าไปทำ�งานในบริษัท ผมอาศัยการติดตามผ่านผลงานทั้งจากในอินเตอร์เน็ต และการไปเยี่ยมชมสถาณที่จริง โดยเฉพาะการ สัมภาษณ์ของกรรมการฝ่ายบริหารหลายๆท่าน ทำ�ให้ผมชื่นชมในความคิด วิสัยทัศน์ และมุมมองต่างๆมาก ในความใจกว้าง ไม่เพียงหวังดีต่อแค่ บริษัทแต่หวังดีต่อเพื่อนร่วมวิชาชีพทั้งประเทศ มันทำ�ให้ผมได้เข้าใจว่าทำ�ไมบริษัทแห่งนี้ถึงเติบโต ผ่านวิกฤติต่างๆมาได้ ผมไม่รู้ว่าการทำ�งานจริงๆ

ABOUT ME
Thanathat bruranatrakul is my name. My personality is INTJ. I did the MBTI test every time I got this personality type. I study architecture at Rangsit university I often must to adapting big change from introvert to extrovert for good teamwork. I almost use intuition to get new ideas but it has to be a reason in good design. I am a thinker, everything can be explained by logic. I like to planing everything for the best. I am looking for developing my hard skills like designing skills with real cost and site. I need to learn more details on construction techniques. I need to develop a BIM program like Revit or Archicad, In my opinion, Programs are really important as the third language.

details All of this try to show what I am thinking about the details, I like to learn to design with steel when I was studied, This material is the future because The advantage is convenience, Fast in construction. Understanding about human scale in each project is the key to good design also.

THE BOX
This project is a steel structure small space for creative workgroups. The location is at Rangsit university in front of The faculty of architecture building. There is a stair that can go up to see the lake view each step also created to be a seat different level. In the future the tree going to cover this space from the sun, Expanded Metal facade was designed on the west side.

HOME-OFFICE ( พำ�นักงาน )
This project is got in the popular vote final SYS contest. the objective is home-office for people with steel structure. The concept of this house is the white place. There are two mass the office part and house parts that slite by the stunning card in the middle to create white space like in the hevan. All of the structures combined by the white steel beam and column. In details, I try to study about the joints of steel and the layer of green roof technology to design for this house’s roof.

This part is showing my process to design archi-
tecture. the first one of the processes is site analysis to chooses which type of architecture on this site should be. and the second one is how to create mass for analysis both circulation and zoning for privacy and public. Also, real estate thinking about commercial areas and methods for magnet people to get in the architecture.

MONMANEE RESORT & SPA
This project is focused on the economic problems that how do you improve the business hotel in Bo Kluea District, nan? I design the hotel by concern about the resource and use the material in nan for developing the rock salt to the luxury salt in spa resort that is way to better product and make value for general materials in nan. the architecture is designed in a suitable method and concern about existing and environment by pushing it down on mesh of land. on the other hand, the luxury rooms on any floors can take the best view of the natural small village.

PROCESS DESIGN This project is accessed from the road behind. I cut the big mass with circulation from behind to front canal Then pushed the face of mass for privacy each unit. Next, I sliced up for a good view both inside out and outside in. finally, I placed the roof plane on top and aad mass of spa next to the hotel and swimming poolside the canal also.

THE RIM
This project locates at the node of the cen-
ter in Muang-eak village near Rangsit university. At this point is an important node of this area. The rim is a small community mall for Rangsit university’s student and The villagers around hear. The concept of this project was decoded from culture and history about Rice fields and the canal’s way of life. The impressive facade was transformed from a wooden boat.

PROCESS DESIGN This project is accessed from the road in front of the community mall. I cut the mass of the building to create a courtyard in the middle for daylight and space. At the front and back, I cut them with the curve mass to create the curve attractive space.

SHOPPING CIRCULATION The important thing for the community mall is good shopping circulation, I try to create the loop of shopping for a new experience this circulation will avoid boring walking feeling.

06 Jรถnkรถping housing
This project was designed during I was an exchang student at jonkoping university, Sweden. The project focused on quality of scandinavian living standard. It very different from thailand both in term of law and climate. Focused on privacy by seperated core of building for only 3 rooms per floors. L shape building for there is playground for daycare and park in the middle.

07 THE NAGA THANI Mix-use located in front of Lumpini park, the CBD district of Bangkok. combined with office, retail, hotel, and housing. The character of this building represents Thainess. There are elements and shape of naga, Buddhism Legendary animals. The plan was decoded from Phra Sumen Mountain (ตำ�นานเขาพระสุเมร), There is an aquarium on the first floor and himmaphan (ป่าหิมพานต์) in the retails shop floors. There are 4 skyscrapers, 2 of them are housing building and 2 the rest are mix-use both hotel on top and office.

This plan shows the location of the apartment hotel office and retails show about access from MRT to site. There is an aquarium in the middle of the site. Green space was placed in between a retails space.
