The story
The story of Sophie’s cupcakes begins in London in 2005. We wanted to create a new organic cupcake brand, as these fairy cake should be more healthy. We minimised all the processed sugar from the recipe and we kept all the delicious natural elements that make Sophie’s Cupcakes so unique. We strictly use the most delectable fruits in our recipes because you matter more than everything on earth. Isn’t it sweet? Like Sophie’s Cupcakes.
The logo
This is how our logo is made: with a touch of love, 2 cups of tenderness and a good piece of design. First of all, we use Calligraffiti. There is a slight 2° bend to make the name smile. The name is brown to remind of the chocolate. Sophie’s silouhette is in strong pink whilst the background pink is quite lighter. The colours we defined are in the colour section.

The font
You should use Baskerville, as it reflects the strength of the brand and adds a quality impression that supports the products of the brand. We use premium quality products. Therefore, we should use a font that reflects it.

The colours
The light pink is used for the backgrounds.
CMYK: 0; 19; 12; 0 RVB: 251, 220, 218 HEX: #fbdcda
The dark pink is used for all the important elements.
CMYK: 0; 52; 13; 0 CMYK: 242, 154, 177 HEX: #f29ab1
The brown should be used less than the pink to increase its impact. The brown is in fact a much darker pink.
CMYK: 42; 70; 48; 50 CMYK: 103, 61, 68 HEX: #673d44
The packaging
Our packaging is quite simple. We like to keep it minimalistic, like our recipes. The packaging is brown. You must use a glossy paper to keep this colour shiny. The cupcake boxes are usually square. You can produce other boxes as long as they are proportional to square. The box has to be 7x7cm Our logo takes a large amount of space on the packaging, that is due to the fact that our logo is a full graphical element. You need to leave 3mm blank from the edge. For the upper part, you need to leave 3mm from the cutting zone. The back of the box is for the story with the address of the bakery. The right side is reserved for the nutrition fact.
The letter and letterhead
The letter has to be made with a thick soft white paper, preferably on a 180gps to 360gps. The logo is printed on the top left of the front letter whilst there is a sticker of the logo that close the letter. The address has to be written in brown. The address zone can be on the right or the left, depending of the country standards.
The letter and letterhead
The logo on the letterhead is centred at the top. The type face used is Baskerville MT STD. This font was chosen to show the tastefulness of the product. The font should be written in brown. In case you cannot use the colour brown, you can use the black.
The graphic elements
The graphic elements are used to enlight the content. You can create as many as you want. They have to be in the colours of the brand and preferably rounded. The logo itself can be used as a graphic element if the logo isn’t already on the visible part of the paper, box or anything else.
