PRESENTATION FILE NATIONAL SERIES KARTING The French Karting Series leader

Based on great fair-play and conviviality principles, the NSK emerge today as the French reference when it comes to karting series â&#x20AC;&#x153;open to allâ&#x20AC;? (experienced drivers and others) ! For this new year, the NSK 2016 season will take place on 3 major events, a number corresponding perfectly to the needs and means of karting championship lovers. The calendar goes from April to September, precisely when the days are long and the chances of sunny days higher. The quality of this competition is a result of the means implemented by the organizer 3MK Events. Scrutineering will be highly rigorous as well as stewards who will rely on ultra-modern video means to impose justice on the tracks. Conscious of the high expectations of drivers for each competition, 3MK Events is committed to delivering high quality events.

ORGANIZER

3MK Events : Karting Events Creator 3MK Events owns a quite exceptional track record as an organizer of sporting events for more than 10 years. Bridgestone Cup, France National Rotax Challenge and National Rotax Finals are among the most successful, as well as the first 3 NSK seasons. The 3MK philosophy has not changed from its original objectives : provide quality competitions open to all drivers and propose a true friendly atmosphere at all levels. The goal is clear : drivers, teams, guests, public & medias should have a great time on a NSK event. The means implemented by 3MK Events are wide and nothing is underestimated : preparation of top-level tracks, warm welcome for competitors & all guests, rigor in the racing program and world-class sportive fairness.

3MK Events also integrates a powerful communication strategy, optimized to promote efficiently the events before the date, but also during the races & after the end of the competition, thanks to a website – www.ns-karting. com – which broadcasts a live-timing & live TV, and an excellent media covering.

EVENT SCHEDULE The race format is common to all NSK events.

FREE PRACTICE

Free practice starts on Thursday afternoon (Friday morning for mini-karts & Minimes/Cadets), the track being closed for training from the preceding Monday to avoid any excess. The administrative registration is open until Friday morning.

CHRONO PRACTICE

Chrono practice starts after Friday’s free practice. The qualifying heats are held on Saturday morning, right after the last chrono practice.

FINALS

Sunday’s finals include a pre-final and a final for each category. They are followed by podium ceremonies.

SCORING METHOD

A victory in a final gives 100 points, 90 points are granted to the 2nd, 84 points to the 3rd, 78 points to the 4th, 74 points to the 5th, etc. This scoring method is based on a decreasing scale, up to the 30th driver who will receive 2 points.

TYRES

The pre-final gives 70 points to the winner, 66 points to the 2nd, 62 points to the 3rd, 58 points to the 4th, 54 points to the 5th, etc. This decreasing scale also applies up to the 30th driver who will get 1 point. The worst result will be removed for the championship ranking. 

- 4 brand new tyres will be used for the free practice*, starting from the 2nd session - 4 brand new tyres will be used from the chrono practice and until the final - 4 brand new rain tyres will be imposed from the 1st event of the championship. If these tyres are not being used, they can be used to the next NSK event**. *except for Minikart – Free tyres. **For relevant categories.

THE CHAMPIONSHIP The 2016 season includes 3 meetings. The 5 best results, among the 3 pre-finals and the 3 finals, are kept for the championship rankings, leaving everyone the opportunity to use a joker during the season. Will be declared â&#x20AC;&#x153;NATIONAL SERIES KARTING 2016 WINNERâ&#x20AC;? the drivers having cumulated the highest number of points in each category (without the worst result on a pre-final or final). In case of draw, the result of the final of the last event of each category will decide the equally placed drivers. At the end of the championship, a prize ceremony will be organized.

PRICES This new season will also be the occasion to win many outstanding rewards. Probably the best rewardsâ&#x20AC;&#x2122; list ever seen in the landscape of French karting.

ROTAX GRAND FINALS - SARNO

6 tickets to the ROTAX MAX CHALLENGE GRAND FINALS organized each year by BRP-Powertrain (manufacturer of the Rotax 125 Max engine) will be granted. An exceptional event that gather more than 280 drivers from all around the world.

US OPEN - LAS VEGAS

The Las Vegas US OPEN has now become a major event in the karting world. With pretty amazing rewards and such a particular atmosphere, the US OPEN will see Rotax and 125cc with gear box drivers from all around the world come to Vegas for an unmissable event.

IAME INTERNATIONAL FINAL - LE MANS

3 tickets (engagement + tyres*) will be granted to access the international final dedicated to IAME drivers at Le Mans international track. Please note that the NSK championship is part of the X30 Challenge France 2016 National Ranking. The coefficient of the NSK championship is level 2. *tyres will be granted free of charge of the NSK 2016 winners

For each meeting winner, the engagement will be free for the next meeting in the same category. Only valid for the first 2 meetings.
