Emily and Taylor met in high school on the track and field team. They were close friends, but didn’t start dating until Taylor asked Emily out on a lunch date.
Fast forward to Emily’s last year in college; Taylor had a new question to ask. He tied the ring to their cat’s collar and waited for her to notice. It took a while, but after she caught the cat she said yes— and as she says, the rest is history.
Planning the Big Day
The couple loves summer in the Black Hills, so an outdoor wedding was the perfect choice. They also know we have unpredictable weather, so they had a backup plan; a decision that was made easy with all of the gorgeous locations available at their venue. Emily says everyone they worked with was amazing, which let them relax and enjoy their big day.
Their wedding turned out to be a perfect summer evening, and the couple were thankful they were able to celebrate with family and friends. Being surrounded by the ones they love was the icing on top of a perfect day.
Hints for Brides
Get as much sleep as you can! It might be hard to sleep that week and you want to be able to enjoy the big day as much as possible!
