Matt and Haley’s love story began at SDSU, where he was a teacher and she was his student. After completing coursework together, they decided to start dating. Matt proposed to Haley on the Hogwart’s Express at Universal Studios.

For their wedding at Spearfish Canyon Lodge, Haley wore a ring made of Black Hills Gold, with a diamond inset from her mother’s earrings.
