Dear Hiring Manager, I would like to submit my resume for the TsAo & McKOWN internship position. Given my background in architecture and extensive project experience and prior hands-on internship roles, I feel that I would bring value to your team. I would also bring an excellent work ethic, enthusiastic attitude, and flexible, detail-focused approach to each endeavor. In the past years, I have had two internship experiences both in a GAD Firm and in the Perkins Will Shanghai Office. During my Perkins Will tenure, I was fully involved in the entire concept to execution design process on the T.Y. Lin Chongqing Headquarters building, working as an assistant architect. Moreover, I was also closely involved in the design development process of Huzhou Silk Museum design program. Both of these positions offered me excellent knowledge and understanding of Office and Cultural building design. In addition, my secondary background of Industrial Design also provides me with complementary perspectives of human-scale and building-scale objects. What’s more, I take a great interest in low energy architectural design, as well as public and healthcare buildings. Within my undergraduate years, I had conducted a project called Zero-energy Building Design for one year. I trust that your company would be a great avenue to implement my interests and thoughts. I am a very determined and diligent worker. I take great efforts in whatever I do. It is my goal to work with an organization that embodies passion and dedication in architectural design, which precisely describes yours. I would be available for a telephone interview at your convenience to further discuss my fit for the TsAo & McKOWN role. Thank you for your consideration. Sincerely yours, Zehui Li
