I decided to make the third issue of 42 about interior design when I was back home in Sweden. As it turned out a lot of my friends hade moved to new places and their beautiful apartments inspired me. Emma Örtman made a series of detailed photos with her hipstamatic which I think really captures the 50’s feeling that’s going on at her place. From the woods of Blekinge, Dan Egonsson sent me some photos portraying his cottage at wintertime. It’s truly as cosy in real life as it looks on the photos and the fact that it’s placed in the middle of nowhere just makes it even more appealing. After many years of travelling all over the world, Maria Brorsson and her sister Ida decided that it was time to stay put, and they did, together, in an amazing apartment. Although they have very different tastes they have managed to create a harmonious and spacious place to live. I my self am particularly fond of their nail polish collection in their guest bathroom and the way that they present their bijouterie. Enjoy Anna Rasmussen Editor
