FROM THE DESK OF HEAD COACH JIM HARBAUGH THE TEAM…THE TEAM…THE TEAM One of our lasting memories of Football is the above Rallying Cry. The importance of this Cry is that a TEAM, a winning TEAM, consists of many parts – an administrative TEAM, a Football staff and support TEAM, talented and gifted athletes and others. A most valued member of this TEAM, The 2012 San Francisco Forty Niners Football Team, is You, the Season Ticket Holder. Together, we will accomplish great things. Another memory we have participating in organized Football is The Playbook. Each year in the inaugural meeting of the season, a Playbook is passed out to the squad, describing a plan for achieving TEAM success. When the 2012 TEAM gathered in April, we passed out our Playbook. Our 2012 Playbook outlines the intricacies of our Offense, Defense, and Special Teams. The Playbook also discusses The Forty Niner Way of Winning Championships with a Positive Productive Attitude, Winning Championships with Discipline, Hard Work, Relentlessness, and Enthusiasm. The Forty Niner Way gives us a chance to separate ourselves from the thirty-one other teams in the NFL. The Forty Niner Way allows us to visualize the confetti falling around us as we celebrate a Super Bowl Championship together as a TEAM. As a member of our TEAM, we are presenting you with your 2012 Playbook. This Playbook will include much of the information you have gleaned being an integral part of five Lombardi Championship Seasons. This Playbook will include tickets and parking information. Each of the ten home game tickets will highlight a motivational theme reminding us that The Forty Niner Way believes that morale is to the physical as the number three is to the number one. Laid out by those who preceded us. We welcome you to the 2012 San Francisco Forty Niner Football TEAM and The Forty Niner Way. Hopefully this Playbook will add to your enjoyment of the coming season. The Forty Niner Way = We Win As A TEAM!

NFL FILMS 49ers vs. saints
2011 NFC Divisional Playoff Game – January 14, 2012 If you were at the 49ers epic victory against the Saints – one of the greatest games in recent history – you experienced one of the best atmospheres Candlestick Park has seen in years. Relive this amazing game with a NFL Films Production that answers the question, “Who’s Got It Better Than Us?” Nobody!
et to your seats in time for player introductions! Start the game off the right way by G giving your 49ers a proper “Faithful Welcome” when they run on to the field. Let the players know you are there and ready to do your part – from start to finish, this is a total team effort! Early Fans of the Game can win autographed items, seat upgrades, food and beverage discounts and much more!
And most importantly…
Our Grand Plaza opens 3 hours prior to kickoff and features live music and entertainment, a full-service sports bar, gourmet food trucks, and more. Be sure to add the 49ers Museum and official Team Store to your list of pre-game stops. Visit the Plaza early and enjoy the ultimate tailgating e xperience!
arking lots open 4 hours prior to kickoff. Arriving early and having a parking plan will P help ensure a smooth arrival to the stadium.
Proper planning for gameday is vital. Entry on to the site and through the stadium gates can sometimes be challenging. Give yourself a few extra hours, plan to arrive early, and e mbrace the all-day NFL experience.
TIMING IS EVERYTHING
Communication at the line of scrimmage is important for the offense. Our players need to be able to hear the play call and snap count, and any audibles the quarterback may make at the line of scrimmage. Let’s help our offense be successful this year by being quiet when they are on the field at work.
Grab your jersey or find your favorite Niners Tee – your 49ers Faithful uniform c ome in many styles, but be sure it’s Red! Go to www.shop49ers.com and purchase the latest gear.
hether you are in the stadium or not, let your voice be heard. Follow W the @49ers on Facebook & Twitter and use game specific hashtags.
JOIN THE CONVERSATION
So we will celebrate our own traditions and feature a few moments in the game when we need total participation from the crowd. Visit 49ers.com for a complete list of in-game crowd prompts and traditions.
The in-stadium experience should be unique for the fans in attendance. Things happen at the game that you cannot duplicate at home or anywhere else. Some moments, or rather traditions, happen naturally and grow bigger and better over time, while others are more practiced and orchestrated, at least initially.
RALLYING CRIES
These are your four downs. When the 49ers defense is on the field, the Faithful must own Candlestick with a deafening roar, from first to fourth down. Disrupt the other team’s communication…and do your part to give us the advantage. This is where the Faithful can truly impact the game. Don’t let the other team’s offense hear the play call or the snap count. Let’s count the number of false starts we can force each week!
