Reintegration

Tuesdays • 9:30 to 11 a.m. Reintegration is for military personnel returning from deployment. Returnees must receive their briefing within 7 days of return to home station (while on ROM). Pre-Deployment and Remote Tour

1st & 3rd Tue • 1 to 3 p.m. Informative briefing for military members and their spouses. Learn about support services available to you and your family before, during and after experiencing a deployment or remote tour. Briefing is mandatory for active duty personnel task with deployment or an unaccompanied remote tour (365 days). Spouses highly encouraged to attend. Deployed/Remote Family Retreat

September 29-October 1 Come join the Readiness NCO and the A&FRC for a relaxing night in the Sacramento mountains. Lodging, Meals and Activities provided! This trip will last three day and two nights. You can either drive up solo or follow us as a group. Holloman Spouse Welcome

October 3 • 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Spouse Welcome to the base including topics such as Tricare, Employment, Child and Youth Programs, on and off base activities. The Wing Commander’s spouse will brief as well. Life Lessons with Silly Putty

October 4 • 2 to 3:30 p.m. A class designed to help people understand how values are instilled and the way our decisions are made due to them. Attendees will be given an egg of Silly Putty they can keep. Key Spouse Annual Suicide Prevention

October 12 • 3 to 4:30 p.m. EFMP families in celebration of Disabilities Month is invited to a special behind the scenes tour of Holloman AFB and the 49th Wing: Honor Guard; 6th ATK RPA Simulators; will be able to see up close to an F-16 and have photo opportunities with it and a prize at the end. This event is only for EFMP Families and will be limited to 40 people. Bus pick-up will be at 3PM in front of the Airman and Family Readiness Center and will be back to the Center between 4:30 and 5pm. Thank you to A1C Valente, PA and the 49th Wing for putting this together and letting us special families know that we are exceptional! Adult Mental Health First Aid

October 18 • 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Adult--Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders in your community in an effort to reduce the stigma associated with seeking help. The importance of connecting people to appropriate care is also discussed. Attendees receive a FREE book and are awarded a certificate identifying them as a certified MHFA Interventionist--valid for 3 years. Private Sector Resumes

October 21 • 1 to 4 p.m. Babies cost a bundle! Learn more about what resources are available for expecting parents. Each family will receive a gift card to the BX. Briefers include Child and Youth Programs, Tricare, Health Promotions, Dental and the New Parent Support Program. Pancake and Pajamas

October 21 • 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Deployed and Remote Families!! Join us for pancakes in your comfy pajamas. Take the night off from cooking!
