SUCCESSFUL INDUSTRY M&A EXECUTIVES LAUNCH NEW FIRM Mergers and acquisitions in the freight and logistics industry continue to prevail. Just this month Xpediator PLC released the news of their third acquisition since listing publicly in 2017, CMA CGM were given regulatory approval to approach CEVA Logistics and Cinven, one of Europe’s leading PE firms, acquired all the shares of pharma-chain ULD provider Envirotainer. With this increased activity the sector is experiencing, a new partnership has been formed offering concentrated M&A advisory services to the industry. Following the addition of a new joint managing director last week, recently established niche M&A firm 4Cap Equity is now officially launched. Forging this partnership whilst working together previously, James and Jack led a significant number of successful transactions, including Xpediator PLCs acquisition of Regional Express and Santova PLC’s acquisition of Tradeway Shipping, in addition to multiple others that remain undisclosed. Not ones to be satisfied with only these achievements, they felt that the time was right to partner in a new venture to take advantage not only of a buoyant market but also to focus solely on providing an undiluted M&A service.
