Thanks to the $5,000 grant from the Tocker Foundation, GLM has invited three awesome authors to visit the library as part of our Summer Reading Program!

Award winning author Alayne Kay Christian will be at the library on Tuesday July 16 at 10:30 am. Alayne is the author of Butterfly Kisses and Sienna the Cowgirl Fairy. In addition to writing books, Alayne brings them to life as content and development editor of Blue Whale Press. She will be bringing story board layouts to demonstrate the publishing process and show how a story becomes an actual book.

Writing duo Miranda and Baptiste Paul will visit the library via video chat on Tuesday August 13 at 10:30 am. Miranda is the author of over a dozen pictures books! She has written two books with her husband, Baptiste, including Adventures to School: Real-Life Stories of Students from Around the World. Learn what it takes to be an author and ask Miranda and Baptiste questions about their job, their books, and their life as creative crusaders.

See you at the library!
